I hope you got to see when he corralled the Glenelg shithead in the south-western pocket and got a free for holding the ball, was a fantastic tackle.

Or his excellent pack mark.

Or his quick grab and goal early on.

Loved it. And the Glenelg tears in the crowd were salty and plentiful.
So many little moments in his game today. This time next year, I reckon he will be in the team.

Greenwood looks the goods and based on what he's shown so far looks set for an AFL career. Great hands, quick decisions, good skills. Keath has a way to go and not surprised by that. Beaten one on one a few times and looked as though he doesn't anticipate where the ball will come in all that well. Early days. May well turn out a trump.

Beech is doing all that would be expected of him. Clearly a very handy forward/utility.

Given our AFL team structure atm, I'd like to see him given a couple of weeks across half back to see if he can be an upgrade on any of our defenders. Tough as nails, awesome overhead.

I also reckon we should give Gore a mid/defence rotation in games so we can also see him back there.

Really ?? I thought he had 5 or so trash touches.
There were a couple of poor disposals, and that poor chasing effort I pointed out earlier. But that tap on to himself where he got the free was all class as were a number of his other touches. Definitely above SANFL level.

There were only a few guys that I saw that looked way above SANFL level: Menzel, Beech and Keath early plus some of greenwoods stuff.

Keath - first game in 6 yrs take every negative you saw with a grain of salt and give him 6 weeks to show his weaknesses

In ome game Keath went past Otten, Shaw and Kelly.

His game today has made me slightly more comfortable with the idea of one of the senior key defenders going down.

He's high quality
Plays a different position to Kelly but certainly better future prospects than Otten.

Shaw…I just hope like hell this concussion issue isn't long lasting as I genuinely have faith he will be a very good AFL player.

Agree with this, especially with Beech unless we get him to play a bit more midfield/wing and then have him replace Mackay. Difficult at the moment as we have too many quality half forwards.

39 games left, excluding finals, to find out.
