Think Otto is in trouble, he should be. Granted he was sniped but you can't go shoving the ump. Bit of a pity too as he had a really good game. Enough has been said about our rookies, they were all brilliant.

Thought Grigg had his best game for the year too.

Grigg was fantastic, hit some guys up with that laser leg which was enjoyable. Otten very smart finding space on the rebound. Hunter floated a couple through which was good for him.

If it was forceful and the Port player got 3 for a demonstration, he may be up for more.

Yeah I'm thinking 3 or 4. He MAY not have known it was the umpire at first but I think he's in deep trouble.

Ironically he could end up with more than Sumner

Not sure about the Crows but yes for West he's played as a follower.
Interesting.

I imagine if he's got a good tank, ultra competitive, big bodied, neat skills, can swing forward with devastating effect AND we have a plethora of forward options AND our 'versatile' midfield depth is questionable (i.e. a big bodied mid who isn't pure inside) then why oh why don't we try him in a position like Mackay's?

I only watched the second half but Keath was an absolute general in defence and looks to have a hell of a leg on him. As for Greenwood, seems to have a 2m wingspan which with his leap and speed could make him a weapon up forward or on the wing. Excited about both of them.

I only saw bits and pieces of the game, but Greenwood looked great. Saw him do a couple of things that definitely made me think he could play AFL level.

I didn't really see Keath at all, but that may have just been due to me only seeing bits of the game.

Greenwood, Beech and Keath. Add those names to Cameron, Laird, Hartigan, ROB and to a lesser extent Kelly and you realize just how well we are doing out of rookie picks.
By being named 2nd and 3rd best respectively in a SANFL match, Keath and Greenwood have probably already achieved more than most Cat B rookies.

Super fortunate to have secured Greenwood. To play like that after only after few games is very promising. Hopefully he can get a game or two in the seniors later this year as a reward for his progression. Seems very switched on and has a great work ethic. He knows where he's at and what he's got to do to get where he wants to be. Combine all with his physique and atheletism and there's no reason why he can't become a very good AFL player. Very exciting.

The only problem I see with Greenwood and Keath is that they're both 24. Don't get me wrong, I reckon they both have immense futures, but how long will those futures be? 5 years?

And that is higher than the average AFL career.

Not much less than and probably about the same amount of time we will have Jenkins for.
