Would you bypass Dangerfield knowing what his kicking is like now?

Could have? You think we had the opportunity and passed up on it?If he slides to a pick we could have upgraded to I won't be impressed.
you could probably add murtimur as a HBFView attachment 306119
Not sure if this just confirms our needs.
But maybe with only one good medium defender under 28 (and two likely types) we could use another one.
Just making room for PetrieSo with Fmac delisted, surely we'll go in one less player on the senior list again like last year, unless someone of value is still available at our round 7 pick (currently 124), or perhaps we might go into the PSD, but obviously we haven't done that since 2010 when we took Blayne Wilson. Too bad we don't have more decent picks.

What would the main reason be for waiting for the rookie draft? Is it wages or a list spot?Would prefer our 5th pick to be Banfield or Cameron. Don't leave both of them until the rookie draft, get in early.
Passes the Nisbett Good Bloke test with flying colours"I think I can bring leadership, pace, strength and overall like just being a good bloke I guess" - Sam Powell-Pepper
Sounds like Jarrod Berry might have a rival in the top bloke stakes.
Funny, when I ready Martin's draft profile it said 'reminiscent of Sam Powell-Pepper"Has a bit of Dustin Martin about him

Powell-Pepper possesses some special athletic attributes, with his size and power, particularly in the way he brushes off tacklers, reminiscent of Richmond's Dustin Martin
I agree but think SPP is that warriorI'm the same, need a hard campaigner in the middle who'll go to war when he needs to. His profile reminds me of Beau Waters - for his sake I hope he doesn't have the same injury problems.
Just have Gaff right next to him, SPP extracts and handball to Gaff.If we do take SPP every single one of his kicks are going to be scrutinised harder than Swifty's and Ebert's combined.
We'll probably have a separate game day thread set up just for SPP kicking-related melts
Yep, as he wouldn't be on our list anymore, was always going to go home...although who the **** wants to live in adelaideWould you bypass Dangerfield knowing what his kicking is like now?
Best post of the off-season.Wishing we had another pick is fine.
Criticising the list management team for not getting it done is what irks me.
I realise that might be a little nuanced for someone who thinks "Trade Darling" and "Haha I keep calling him Marsden" is the height of comedy.
I know, spewing we didn't trade mackenzie for a pick in the 20's. In all seriousness I was really hoping to turn some of next year's picks into picks this year. And while people can say pick 12 to two early 20 picks this year, I think that would be silly, we could miss on a slider or even both SPP and BoltonPersonally i think there's no way Dustin Martin slides to 34. More than a tad annoying that we don't have a pick in the 20's.
I think one of the clubs with an early to mid 2nd rounder will grab him. He doesn't seem to give a damn who picks him up, just wants to play AFL.
Will go between 20 and 30.
He seems to be mentioned on most boards as someone they want so its not just us.Is it possible we are overhyping SPP? Whilst I rate him, little over 3 weeks ago and he was a massive reach at 12
Better players available would be a pretty good reason. What would the main reason be for waiting for the rookie draft? Is it wages or a list spot?
Pick 12 is just at that awkward spot that makes it hard to plan for (well for us punters anyway). He seems to be mentioned on most boards as someone they want so its not just us.
To be fair they're both useless.
who's the shaker?Bishop is a Phantom Draft tragic but one that I see being reasonably on the money (at least in prior years). If interested - have a look

He has us taking The Shaker at 12. No surprises there.
Our 2nd pick is going to offering a wide choice of good quality. People that Bishop is rating at or around our pick 34 are as follows:
Rotham, Drew, Bolton, Fisher, Poholke, Atley and Graham. In other words, excellent options to chose from and showing the depth of the draft. If we go The Shaker, I would want a true mid like Fisher/Clarke/Atley for our second.
For the record, Bishop has Waterman going at 56 just after our third pick meaning we just take him with our next and no points penalty.
Bit concerning that he rates Kula Shaker as the 37th best player in the draft though.Bishop is a Phantom Draft tragic but one that I see being reasonably on the money (at least in prior years). If interested - have a look
