Liam Duggan anyone? I like the idea of Berry but am also concerned with his ball-winning or lack thereofI don't like berry for 1 reason. Doesn't find enough of the pill. Even if you say this year is fully injury interrupted and there are extenuating circumstances he didnt get a lot of the ball last year either. He has had good games but i have never seen him get more than 20 possessions. You can have all the right traits, be the right size and have amazing leadership credentials but if you can't get the ball as far as im concerned you can't play.
Do not want.
I wouldn't mind Simpkin at first pick before Galluci, Venables and FlorentMy options for our first pick considering who may be available.
1. Brodie
2. SPP
3. Galluci
4. Venables
5. Florent
For our second pick
1. SPP
2. Bolton
3. Rotham
4. Brown
5. Clarke
Am I the only one that doesn't rate Duggan. He looks nice, but doesn't get nearly enough of the footy at AFL level, given he's spent a lot of his time rotating through middle. Bloke only averaged 16poss for East Perth this yearfor a pure inside mid its about average. I don't think he will be close to a liability as priddis is when his opponent has the ball. Brodie IMO is just the player we need. considering we have quality user in shuey, sheed, duggan and gaff, we now need a few fex extractors that can feed them.

Say it ain't so. I really hope we don't head to the draft thinking the midfield doesn't need workagreed. and for rawlings to say that recruiting jetta, redden, and Mitchell has addressed our midfield needs, is ridiculous.
The Berry and Rotham combo would be stupidI'd be absolutely stoked with Berry with our first and one of SPP, Bolton, or Rotham with our second.

to be fair on duggo he did struggle to comeback from his knee injury last year and hence had a second year blues last year (not an uncommon thing). In his first year he didn't have any issues finding the footy and had a few 20plus possie games playing as a hff/mid. This year will be the year people will be really judging him. If he doesn't have a good year, he will start having his critics.Am I the only one that doesn't rate Duggan. I don't think Emma Quayle has ever got a WCE draft prediction right, so i'll be taking that with a heavy grain of salt.
We got Reddenthe more i read about brodie to adelaide at 13 the less i get excited about draft day. we were smashed in contested ball last season on many accounts and neither Gallucci or simpkin will help fix that. Berry might be he doesn't seem to be a high production player either.
i know your having a crack cause i like redden but im looking at lifefe after priddis. We got Redden

i guess so but i have been seeing a few phantoms where brodie slides. i hope he does. Im really not excited by the likes of gallucci or simpkins either.avishka5 I don't believe he will still be on the board at our pick let alone Adelaide so I think the point is mute.
That said I do agree with you that if he WAS available for our pick, I too would be super pissed if we passed on him.
Doesn't he average about the same amount of possessions as berry?I thought I read that berry averaged about 20,could be wrong thothe more i read about brodie to adelaide at 13 the less i get excited about draft day. we were smashed in contested ball last season on many accounts and neither Gallucci or simpkin will help fix that. Bull, driven and a big game player. We have been crying out for a player like that.
