Keys on the other hand....meh I wouldn't melt. I don't really give a shit what SPP does to be honest. Never bought into the hype (partly because I didn't want to be disappoint).
I remember mentioning earlier in the thread how weird it was that we had all pencilled him in despite not being linked to him by anyone

Well hopefully Quiggers is wrong about Venables!Carbine Choas I am also pissed that we have for many...many...many years held on to our spuds / crabs a year and sometimes two longer than we should have.
I was scratching my head last January or when ever it was in the pre season when we gave McInnes a contract extension , my first thought was WTF.
So I convinced myself that he must have stolen Masten's mantle and be TTHD.
Unfortunately this was not so.
After watching him many times in the WAFL a season earlier I knew we had got a bust on our hands , you see for someone his size to not be dominating WAFL games with regular bags of five / six and the occasion game where he took it by the scruff of the neck and put in an absolute blinder, sadly this has never been the case.
I remember years back to Quigley's bio on him where he stated that he had serious concerns about McInnes as he never seems to dominate a game and impose himself as he should and just where do you play him ? Whats his true position?
Now I just happen rate Quigley as one of the best and most observant of the BF talent spotters . At the back of my mind I have always been mindful of the red flag that Quigley raised on him.
Once again it appears that Quigley was on the money.
Pisses me off that we have bogged up a rookie spot with McInnes in a year where there are so many good kids that we miss out on because our list management is questionable.
So rather that McInnes on the list we could had added one of Goddard, Banfield, Bunker, Sproule, Hinge, to name but a few.
Lets be honest here if McInnes was up to it then we would not be entertaining the notion of adding Petrie. `\_0_/` so that makes it worse as between the two of them they may be blocking two young rookies from being on our list.
Rant over .... best I will take a chill.
The combine tests are pressure....pressure to perform and win a contract is still pressure.
Yeah he was at 40 or 50 something while spp was at 11Well hopefully Quiggers is wrong about Venables!
Just saying that he would be my choice if it was between he and McInnes. Why do we need Petrie?
Ahh fair enough, it's like choosing whether to get kicked in the nuts or punched in the nutsJust saying that he would be my choice if it was between he and McInnes.
I'm oddly excited at the prospect of 2 x 300 game players lining up for us next year.Ahh fair enough, it's like choosing whether to get kicked in the nuts or punched in the nuts
I'd be more excited if the tall one could still playI'm oddly excited at the prospect of 2 x 300 game players lining up for us next year.
Get ready for the yearly David Schwartz article of Watts>>NNWatts will dominate next year compared to NN
Could be a handy inclusion. Would push us from finals certainties to premiership contenders. You just want big Fraser back at the not so mighty demons

Think it's a combination of lack of exposed form due to injuries, lots of time spent as a forward rather than midfielder, and low production.Bit of a worry

There are still strong indications that the Eagles will rookie list Drew Petrie next week.
This on top of the trading for Nathan Vardy suggests that the club wants a fange of ruck possibilities to cover the absence of Nic Naitanui for most of next season.
