Round 1 vs Adelaide @ Etihad
(Saturday night)

Round 2 vs Brisbane @ Gabba

Round 3 vs Carlton @ Blundstone

Round 10 vs Sydney @ SCG
(Friday night)

Round 14 vs Adelaide @ AO
(Thursday night)

I like the look of this so far. We could very easily go 3-0 which would be so good psychologically, for members hip and means we won't be playing catchup for once. Also 2 big free-to-air prime time matches interstate.

Looking good so far. Just give us Melbourne based games from round 19-23 for Boomer, a few more Friday night games and I'll be stoked.

Holy shit. That's a ripper. Do you know how many of those Friday nights are home games?

Cheers for the info champ!

You snuck in before my edit above.

IIRC at least one of them is at Etihad vs the Bulldogs (Rd 6ish?) but can't confirm who is the home team.

Also, if Boomer doesn't miss a game his 427th will be a home game against St Kilda at Etihad.

Beauty. That's a decent fixture, first Friday night game in Tassie ever?

That's seems like an awesome fixture from a marketing point of view.

Any idea from a difficulty point of view?

Hobart opponents: Sydney, Richmond (on a Friday night at Blundstone) and Melbourne. The Carlton game was scrapped in the final fixture.

And can confirm we play 5 Friday nights (including kicking off Indigenous Round at the SCG) and a Thursday vs Adelaide at AO.

Two Melbourne opponents in Tassie again.

Excellent.

Seems like we get a lot of exposure on prime tv, ballsy to put us vs Richmond in tassie on a Friday night - we must have pushed for it

Win the first few and we can be on track for 45k members

Apologies for the intrusion, but where did you get the information that Richmond will be playing in Tassie again this year? Interesting if true. Also, I thought St Kilda were playing you guys in Tassie as it was mentioned that they'll be going there twice

There must be a tough stretch in the middle because it starts off pretty soft and gets easier towards the end with 6 out of our last 7 in Melbourne (maybe one of those in Hobart).

NB: The fixture was still changing up until Tuesday
/Wed AM so there may be still be a few differences to what I was told.

Tough games can appear from nowhere depending upon form.

Who'd a thought this time last year that Rd 22 Dogs game would be a tough one?

Same story different year.

Yep.

Can't judge the draw until the completion of the season.

Which is why it would be great to actually have a good start for once.

Confidence is key. Just like heading into the finals this season just gone with a few wins under our belt (and the bye against Richmond in R23) it would be great starting off 5-1 instead of 2-4.
