I hate to post an Essendon thing here but is anyone able to make something similar to this?

I'd like to keep it dark themed and maybe even make the blue/white of the jumer the only thing in actual colour?

Just photoshop this to 'ahhh...Seagull' beside Watsin.

Went through our schedule pretty closely.

8 6 days breaks when we play GC, the Dogs, essendon, Sydney, Hawt horn , Adelaide, Port and Collingwood.

We play the following teams after they have had 6 day breaks
Brisbane, the Dogs, Carlton, Richmond and Collingwood.

Two of our games are between sides both of whom have had 6 day breaks being the Dogs and Collingwood.

Some danger games based upon day breaks analysis only.

Adelaide round 14 in Adelaide. Nm have a 6 day break and Adelaide having had the bye have a 12 day break.

WCE round 16 in WA. Nm come off a 17 day break , including the bye, while the wce come off a 10 day break. Nm are not a good after bye team.

Who do we play after playing interstate.

Leaving aside the bye week issues above, we play Melbourne after Brisbane, the Dogs after a 6 day break after playing GC and Richmond after playing in Sydney*

* Tasmanian games are not included.

We have, excluding the last game where time is not set, 8 7 day breaks, 8 6 day breaks, 3 8 day breaks and a 17 day break*

*round 1 excluded

Our opposition has 4 8 day breaks, 1 12 day break, 1 10 day break , 9 7 day breaks and 5 6 day breaks*

*round 1 excluded.

It's tough but fair if you want Friday night footy and you are in the top 4 the year before.

NORTH MELBOURNE

Tick: Given 11 night games, including five on Friday and a blockbuster Thursday night against Adelaide.

Tick: Fans given every chance to see “Boomer” Harvey break Michael Tuck’s games record, with a series of Melbourne-based games towards the end of the season.

Tick: Scored a Friday night game against Richmond in Hobart for its Tasmanian supporters.

Cross: Has eight interstate trips, including home Hobart games.

Cross: Has the equal-most six-day breaks with eight.

Cross: Plays Hawthorn, Sydney, Adelaide and Western Bulldogs twice.

From the Hun
Major cross they forgot about is playing on the MCG just once in round 21.

An advertising line I've never forgotten........

"Sorbent's thickness you can trust......"

Ewww........ but it's a message that stays with you......
Yeah, I remember that one. IMO they missed a golden opportunity to use the word "crust" in the following line.

Good summary by RoCo in the Age of why it is a hard draw - also agree with his summary that if you play well enough to get the strong draw, you'd better be ready to back up and deal with it.

After your post, I read that review and thought it was a little flawed. From recollection he counted Tasmanian games as a negative when our record down there has been quite good.

Made some good points about 3 games in 12 day stretches but overcooked it a little.

Lastly he made his column on the basis of this year alone without previous draws being considered. With the previous years' fixtures by round 10 we've been 4 or 5 wins at best having given other sides a starts.

We could be doing that next year but if we did it would be based on form without having excess travel to factor in.

By the time we play GWS (Rd 23) they will either be well entrenched in the 8 or planning their end of season trip
Hopefully we will be well entrenched in the top 4 by the time this game comes around.

Round 4 and i can't get away from WA sides.North Vs Freo Etihad and a big 40th Birthday Weekend celebrating in Melbourne can't wait.

To be honest Hawthorn is the only team that worries me out of this bunch.

I see us winning 6 of those 8 - maybe a loss to Hawks & drop another to one of the other guys.

Not many teams genuinely worry me anymore.

That's my feel too. If we can split the two Hawks games I'd be happy enough.

No more ****ing around. 2016 we need to finish top 4
