It's there to prevent en masse resting like this year, but to have a break before finals and then winning your QF would make you a tad soft in the PF.Bye after round 23 is a disgrace though.

Disadvantages top 2 finishers to protect the AFL's betting partners. Not happy. It's there to prevent en masse resting like this year, but to have a break before finals and then winning your QF would make you a tad soft in the PF.
I reckon we're going to see more straight sets than usual in the coming years with the break before finals. Teams might actually start making the GF from 5 and 6 now, so that's a bit exciting.Disadvantages top 2 finishers to protect the AFL's betting partners. Not happy.

Yes, I like the bye before the finals as it will stop all this resting players bullshit, aka the purples and Norf. 3 games at the G too, we got our wish there. Hard end to the season though, which in one way is a good thing ... Toughen the boys up before the finals. I am happy with the draw. It's there to prevent en masse resting like this year, but to have a break before finals and then winning your QF would make you a tad soft in the PF.

If we're 5-2 or 6-1 after round 7 I'll be doing cartwheels down the street. When we go 4-2 or 5-1 during this period, what will the haters both within our club and outside of say to detract from it then?
Interesting times, can't wait.
Do you think we can't achieve this?
Easily identified as the toughest stretch of our season, but certainly achievable. Get through that with only one or two losses and it goes a long way towards a top two finish.Do you think we can't achieve this?
And this is completely possible is it not?If we're 6-1 after 7 rounds i think we'd go close to or better than a 19-3 season.
How many games are in Melbourne?
Well I got everything spot on bar the Tassie trip.We always get a double up against a SA side, and would assume 2 trips to the AO again. Expecting Geelong at KP and North in Tastartica as well.
Three mcg, (Hawks, pies, blues)How many games are in Melbourne?
Wings are so yesterday. Modern flight uses panels to create the Bernoulli effect. Sprouts don't have any role in air transport.
8 six day breaks lol, well done afl you bunch of flogs
Cant believe we dont have a game in Melb for Good Beer Week. Now Im just gonna have to drink beer!!
Not phased about 6 day breaks. Simmo is on record at highlighting those trips early and adjusting the load. We beat Richmond at the G off the back of 2 x 6 day breaks.
