You oughta try living 15,000km away. A bloody nightmare getting home, especially when traffic is heavy. Worse even than playing at Waverly back in the day.

Our double ups have to be either 2/2/1 or 1/3/1 in terms of top/middle/bottom 6 from this year. Freo and probably Hawks are a given, so we can't play Swans, Crows or Roos twice.

EDIT: My bad, this is completely wrong.

I thought it was 2-3 from the top 6, 1-2 from the middle 6, and 0-1 from the bottom 6. Because we finished top 2, fair chance we won't get a double up game against a bottom 6 side, so my previous prediction of getting the lions twice is probably wrong.

You're right, I did the rules for 7-12 finishers by mistake.

Last three indigenous rounds at home, maybe this is the AFL compensating for us always playing away on ANZAC weekend?

So with some quick checking, looks like we'll get 2 away games in a row around Anzac day, as Freo insist on playing Anzac game at home. I know it happened this year, which might mean, we'll get 2 home games in a row at some stage in the year.

Round 1: Home vs Brisbane
Round 2: Away vs Hawks
Round 3: Home vs Freo
Round 4: away vs ???
Round 5: Anzac weekend - Away?

It shouldn't be around the away derby either, as that always gives the "away" team 2 in a row, 3 most of the time. So not sure how it'll work, but possibly in the back half of the year, we could get a situation like we did this year, where we travel very little in last 6 or 7 rounds.

You'd think away round 3, home round 4 would be more realistic. I don't think we will ever have two weeks in a row of away games.

Yeah you're probably right. Last year we had 2 away games in a row, but a bye in between, so that's probably as close as it'll get.

If that's the case (Freo home game round 3) I'll be spewin, haven't gone to a night derby in ages!!!

Freo could go away home away(derby) away home too.

Hoping for 6 or 7 games in Melbourne this year. 4 was a bit thin and I'd like to think we get a couple to make up for last year. Anyhow we'll see.

Wings are so yesterday. Modern flight uses panels to create the Bernoulli effect. Sprouts don't have any role in air transport.
