1. Hawthorn- Still too good. Bennell will add to their outside run.
2. West Coast- Excellent team all over the ground. With a healthy defence they'll be even better.
3. Richmond- If they get their ducks in a row they could be a legitimate premiership contenders. That's a big if.
4. Fremantle- Aging list but still with a brilliant midfield. One last roll of the dice.
5. Sydney- A lot of their potential success relies on Buddy's health and availability.
6. Port Adelaide- Hopefully they turn around an incredibly disappointing 2015.
7. North Melbourne- Could be a bit of a drop off considering many of their best players are plus 30.
8. Western Bulldogs- Could suffer from second year blues. A real unknown quantity.

9. Collingwood- Some excellent young players but the competition for top 8 is a bit too tight.
10. Adelaide- New coach, no Danger.
11. GWS- Pushing for finals but just missing out.
12. Gold Coast Suns- Losing a few quality players but still a brilliant crop of youngsters. Full season from Gazza is a must.
13. Geelong- Big sliders. Champions retiring.
14. St Kilda- Will surprise a few teams but not enough experience to crack the 8.
15. Melbourne- Give it a couple more years and they'll be a legit top eight side. Another season into Hogan, Brayshaw etc will do them wonders.
16. Essendon- Crap list. No confidence or assurance of their place in the league with the WADA deal hanging out their heads.
17. Carlton- All about the rebuild.
18. Brisbane- Long stretch ahead of Leppa and co.

Need a solid ruckman, and another key forward, unless Menzel stays fit and kicks goals. Decent list but not quite enough)

We have two of them. Kersten (192cm & 96kg) has played 19 games while Walker (196cm & 99kg) has played 33 games. Both are 22 years of age.
Unfortunately, you must star in your first couple of seasons in order to stay in this caper.

Rumors suggest both are going to be traded in October as the club feel confident Vardy & Clark (two blokes who average between 5-10 games per season over the course of their careers), are going to defy history and play out most of the 2016 season.

Some interesting placings here to say the least, if in fact you are serious.
Bulldogs below the Saints. Is that because the doggies will have a harder draw in 2016?
West Coast just making the 8 next year. They could be AFL champions on Saturday.
It's hard to see Collingwood beating enough top teams to make the top 4.
Freo and Sydney out of the finals? That's a possibility.
And finally - North. North will only lose 1 game in 2016?

North will go backwards with so many players getting old and around 30 years old

Every year i think the Saints will get a bit further up the ladder, it's bound to happen sooner or later surely?
Dogs had a good year, but they're not the only team improving.
I agree it's hard to see Collingwood make the top 4, but earlier this year we had a look at how good they might be.
I think Sydney and Freos window is closing, may struggle to make finals.

Haven't thought too much about this ...but age catches up wit everyone
Teams past midnight are North, Freo, Sydney and Hawthorn.
Port will be better next year
Richmond sooner or later have to get some serious injuries to long term players - do they have the depth to cope if it happens?
Two of the teams past midnight will fall, two will scrabble for one more shot.
Middle 8 will be determined by the draw. teams finishing 7th -12th will play each other twice. the best of those will probably finish top 4ish.
Expect StKilda to have a Bulldogs like year with a reasonably soft draw and an emerging list
Expect Bulldogs to have a consolidation year

Geelong
1. Freo (if get Bennell+McCarthy)
2. Hawthorn (still too good)
3. Geelong (if we get our 4 recruits, 8 home games and they get a much easier draw compared to the AFL's hardest of 2015. This is way too cocky but I feel happy I can be optimistic for once considering I never am).
4. Richmond (you'd think they'd improve)
5. West Coast (a slight drop but they're a great young side with amazing KPF and depth which was shown this year).
6 Sydney Swans (they're not that good anymore. Should still get more than 13 wins though).
7. Adelaide Crows (good enough to win atleast 15 considering they get a minimum of 11 home games. Losing Danger will hurt but not as badly as one would think. They're also in the top 6 tier for harder draw).
8. Port Adelaide (an assumption they're going to rise back up, not 100% sure).
-------------------------------------
9. Western Bulldogs (an assumption they'll drop a little bit, being young and having a tougher draw. 50/50 on them being 8th or 9th swap with Port)
10. North (age will have to catch up, came third has a tough draw, zero youth coming through, furtherest from a premiership).
11. Collingwood (they have an amazing midfield soon to add Treloar. Should win atleast 11 games and will just miss due to not having a finals worthy forward line).
12. GWS Giants (think they'll be a win or two off the 8 but miss out due to inexperience and losing Treloar will hurt but they have so much talent to cover it).
13. St Kilda (got a feeling this'll be the year before they rise).
14. Essendon (not as bad as they seem. Just have a cloud over their head so they'll stay down, 18th if banned).
15. Melbourne (see St. Kilda just not as high).
16. Gold Coast (loss of Bennell, Dixon + their culture won't help. Eade isn't good & doubts over Ablett and Jaegar).
17. Brisbane (there's just something wrong at that club. One KPF in either Schache or Weitering (dunno who yet) ain't gonna solve all your problems. Awesome midfield with no good KPF to kick to).
18. Carlton (Bolton won't fix everything, 3 wins).

I know that this is a long shot pre-trades and FA.

no..not really... but if they are a serious contender they need to be able to cover the loss of good players. They haven't had to to any real extent. Every season that they don't means they're closer to having a horror injury season. It happens to everyone sooner or later
