Freo still havent beaten an "inform" team this year, backing Freo still feels quite risky against a team who took it up to the dogs this week imo. The Dogs/Geel game i see as a 50/50 game therefore not one of interest to me.

This week is another tricky one. I think a lot of the odds are fairly correct or their is a little doubt over certain teams.

Still don't rate north too highly and this is the type of game hawks show up for and win by a goal.

Freo has beaten easy sides, however there are some positive signs. The young crew has finally clicked a little.

Id say Geelong are doing slightly better than the dogs, but its at Etihad.

May go the outsiders on the last 2 as I see them as probably 50/50 games. Hawks ill probably make a drunk bet on friday night on them.

Happy to take the hawks -13.5, north having some injury clouds (cunnington, swallow, nahas,dal santo,atley) and goldstein looking a bit underdone last week so it wouldnt surprise me if the hawks put a bit of extra body work on him. Plus the 3 key forwards Waite (0), Brown (2), Petrie (3), have 5 goals between them in the last 3 rounds.

Dees have definitely improved and play some really exciting footy at times, but it seems to only be against weaker teams. They struggle against top 8 teams (-GWS, but that was R1). Plus it's at the SCG.

Gee 2.75 for North seems quite high. They seem to match up OK on the Hawks, who I still have a couple of slight queries about.

Need Swallow to play though. If he does then I think their midfield can get on top.

I believe the bookies might be acknowledging the potential for a very wet day in Sydney this Sunday ,they have already wound the total in from 177.5 into 171.5.

The bookies are only moving the O/U number to a spot where they think they can achieve even money on both sides of the ledger, the 6 point drift would suggest that everyones been taking unders
