As I have said earlier it really is a strange trade by your mob unless you know of potential slider/smoky that will be around pick 19. Realistically where do you think your club will finish next year?

What classy, skinny, half back flanker can we see fall to us at pick 19 or 30?
Carn, look at those expected to go late in the 3rd or 4th round, pretty sure we have a real chance of scoring this talent for a couple of years before we ultimately fail to develop them and delist them.

Even though I'm still angry, I've been thinking about our ****ing abysmal trade.
The logic goes Picks #19 & #30 are roughly equivalent to Pick #8. Pick #8 goes to the 11th ranked team. Now, in isolation, trading pick #8 for #19 & #30 in any given year is ****ing moronic. This means we would need to finish higher than 11th so the trade looks like a slight win instead of ****ing moronic. If we finish say 8th, we end up ahead on points and have the R2 pick which offsets giving up Pick #11 and thus a win. If we finish top 4, then effectively we've won the trade. If we have a bad year, we're double ****ed. I would expect nothing less than a total clean out of the football depart if we finish anything lower than 8th next year.
