A lot of talk about Oshea but Jonas is the one I really wanted traded and thought that their may be a club silly enough to remember back to his 2014 form and trade for him. Obviously isn't going to happen now. He is a dinosaur and the game has gone past him and we give him 3 years. Unbelievable. I was putting Jonas in the unlikely to play another game pile and he has got 3 more f&*kn years.

Just saw the sports news on 7... do ran outside due to the yelling. Don't think the left hand knows what the right hand's doing in the footy dept. at Alberton.
Don't know much about drafts but sounds like Portia thinks '17 is a strong year, why oh why trade out of it unless we have another deal in the works to get back in the 1st round.

I'm the president of the Tom Jonas fan club and even I don't think he's worth a three year deal.

We will not go forward as a football club until Chris Davies is sacked. Or at least spends 5 minutes reading a 'negotiating for dummies' book.

That'll make me feel a bit better.

Assuming you mean to the Crows...
Yea, This years first and next years first and Carlton will throw back a second rounder with Gibbs... it is Scoop though lol could be bollocks

The Jonas contract may have been a strategic ploy to divert attention from the day's trading activity.

It's worked a treat in this thread.
I swear this is true. Koch has looked over how his mate Chapman has the ambassadors announce an over long contract extension for a spud when the masses are angry and gone with it.

Just GAGF Port. For things done off-field, this week is the angriest I've ever being at the club. We aren't an under resourced basket case anymore. So stop ****ing behaving like one!

Jonas was shit in 2015. And in 2016 showed the game had passed him by with reduced rotations. I'd have taken pick 60 for him. Now we've a slow stopper when you need speedy rebounders. ****ing hell can no one at the club read the way we failed in 2016 and the type of players to keep and ones to get out?!

Pies thinking of bidding for f/s prospects with next years points? Methinks the AFL did not place enough restrictions on future trading when they thought it up. Or maybe they did. The positions of GCS and GWS are just going to get stronger as clubs sacrifice their future picks to pick up players who could have gone to them years ago but by the largesse of the AFL they now have to pay through the nose for.

It's absolutely on the money that the game has passed Jonas by, he is a one paced plodder, with below average skills by hand and foot.

As another poster has already suggested, his only good season, 2014 was over rated, he was diabolical in 2015, and not a lot better in 2016.

A 3 year deal for him is absolutely mind boggling.

Oh and as mentioned earlier. The membership renewal emails went out today.

Into the ****ing trash it goes until my cold heart freezes over and i'm impervious to the pain port have caused me so I dish out money again.

From Cripps I got the impression he thinks next year we can just trade our 2018 first rounder for a 2017 first rounder ... and continue doing that indefinitely. While its logically correct, it feels like living off the credit card to me.

I am English so I use understatement a lot. By saying, "at best" I actually mean "not in a million years". If we win the flag letting our 2017 selection go will be acceptable. Not a masterstroke, but acceptable.
I understand the credit card bit, I don't even have one.

He also got the shits up when Hartlett was discussed, and pretty much indicated Ken had convinced Hamish to stay on the golf course while he wanted him traded. IMO, regardless of whether we should have traded Hamish or not, this shouldn't be aired in public.
Crippa speaking like a man who knows how to live in debt lol
