Whenever you feel optimistic, remember we drafted Butcher and Moore in the same draft at 8 and 9.

It never crossed my mind. I'm from TPFP and optimism was acceptable there.
TPFP - The Power From Port. A PAFC only forum where if you didn't think the club was infallible, you weren't welcome.
RCG - not sure but guessing Rose Coloured Glasses.
Its not all that hard to go back over the years and pick out the dud draft choices made.Whenever you feel optimistic, remember we drafted Butcher and Moore in the same draft at 8 and 9.![]()
There were plenty of us on TPFP who got stuck into the club when it c*cked up, but it's probably fair to say we were in the minority.
In my opinion one of the biggest problems on that site was the complete inability of many posters ( the RCG wearers ) to come to terms with the fact that Choco had lost the plot, and his continued drafting of has beens, never was players ( I could insert numerous names here ), and ring a ring a rosey game plan, was taking the club nowhere.
In fact there were 3 or 4 who were so over the top in their support, that I suspect they may have had some connection with him, and I'm not referring to the obvious individual.
Even the slightest criticism of the bloke would bring forth a barrage of complaints, and I must admit to being very pleasantly surprised when I joined this site and found there were plenty of straight shooters on here that didn't hold back on their opinions of the whole sorry Choco saga.

Remember we played West Coast and he killed that guy? When was the last time Jonas even played a game? Does he even play football anymore?
If Jonas gets games ahead of Clurey next year I'll do something highly irrational.
Am I the obvious individual

Now all we need is a long suspension hanging over the head of our other kpf ... ohhh...waitso we are going into next year with 1 kpf? with bad ankles?
worked well with rucks last year etc
Ive never met him 54. I always liked him and appreciated the highs. The lows sure did suck, but its no cakewalk out there. Not unless you have had a sex change F and S.![]()
Surely if it's close between the two you pick the bloke that's three years younger, has an extra 5cm and has shown plenty of signs that he can grow into a ten year player for us down there? I don't mind Jonas at all, I think he's good depth, but Clurey hasn't done a lot wrong. Sit him down and tell him it's his spot to lose. Instill a bit of confidence in him, let him have a run of games and develop him. Get some new blood in there, we are crying out for it.I currently have Jonas in ahead of Clurey, not by much mind you. Another pre-season could easily change the pecking order.
