In the end a good result. Omar was probably going to get one anyway so better he earnt in. It will be interesting given the lack of Australian players in Sydney and Brisbane if they also give him a wildcard into those events.

Apparently, Kokkinakis will just play doubles in Brisbane as his body is not right yet. From what I have been hearing I think he should give the whole summer a miss. No point pushing it.

I think he will get one in Sydney as I think all three are still available and they will share them around. A few of younger contenders and Groth are playing Canberra the week before.

Was down at Happy Valley today. Jasika has Bolt next. Bolt is playing some great tennis. Watched Saville and Purcell. Very good match. Purcell on top early and hardly made an error for a set and a half and then Saville pressed and he couldn't sustain it. A good start to the year for Saville after a down year with a win in qualifying over Matosevic as well.
