2016 Australia A Series

Squads were announced earlier this week.

We're playing two first class games against South Africa, a quad List A series with SA A, National Performance Squad and a yet to be determined National A team and then two more first class matches against the yet to be determined National A team.

I suspect Pakistan could be that A team.

We've selected 24 players to play in the first class matches and the ODIs. Due to the size of the squad there are no obvious omissions.

Mostly really younger players though a few older* players like Lynn/Henriques/Sayers made the cut and are obviously still in contention for national honours.

Whiteman the only real keeper.

Good to see that recent good form in the just completed shield season has been rewarded.

Then give Swepson a go. Not fussed. I would play Agar- but it would be to bat 6 and bowl a little. That's the role he played for WA last season.
