Aside from the fact that they classify Read as a KPD and Lucey as a KPF - surely a rucks and perhaps Lang should be seen as a midfielder rather than a "general forward", does anyone have any glaring observations or changes to their lineups?
In comparison to other teams we appear to lack midfield depth. We added Damgerfield, S.Selwood and Menegola as immediate options but lost Johnson, Kelly, Stokes and Hartman. In numbers we are perhaps worse off.
I'd say that the end of 2016 will see us concentrate on adding midfield depth to our list. All other areas appear pretty well equiped.
The team above is a decent one. I'm not sure whether we can have a back six as listed - too top heavy for mine. Lonergan probably starts the year in the team, will he be in the best 22 by year's end? I have my doubts though thought him finished 12 months ago.
