First full match I've seen of this tournament (minus the bit where I fell asleep on the couch ). Thought Bernie played quite well but how do you beat Raonic with that serve? Well I guess some people do so Bernie needs to figure it out. Would have been fun to see a Bernie v Roger final... oh well.

Maybe it is some kind of corrective thing, or something to stop him grinding his teeth together or something like that. You couldn't really notice it when it was in place (unlike the footballers ones).

Looks like an actual mouth mould similar to what many people use for dental purposes. Why you'd wear it during a tennis match though, I don't know.

Interestingly the serve to the body really threw Tomic off.
He simply couldn't get a decent return all match.
Wonder if other players will try the same tactics against Tomic
