What are people's thoughts on David Myers?

He has good skills, and could be a handy depth player?
I prefer we look at wafl and find mature age like Adams that never been draft before that david myers.

Have we re-signed any players this year? I know there were rumours regarding D.Pearce getting another couple of years, but have there been any other signings?

Might be sorting Neale out before letting the rest follow?

Wouldn't be surprised to see Fyfe announce an extension either - just because he seems like the sort of bloke who'd do that when the chips are down.

God no lol...Multi year contract for someone struggling with the 2 reasons we signed him up in the first place for...foot skills & pace???

1 year contract only...if at all

One more for Sandi as Docker giant inks new deal

Will Aaron Sandilands' re-signing force Zac Clarke out of Freo? The Victorian is a FA and could look for more opportunities elsewhere?

Do we care if he leaves?
I do. People bag Clarke on here. Fair enough. Out of all of our ruck stocks. Clarke is in his prime years. Had Apeness already been entrenched in our 22 after 30-50 games losing Clarke wouldn't be as bad.

They announced Sandi's extension on the team's SnapChat by getting some players to give clues about who had signed the deal.

Lachie Neale said for his clue:
"This bloke makes my job a lot easier and I'm looking forward to playing with him in 2017"

Could that be hinting towards Neale signing an extension as well?

As we understand it, Pavlich is warming both the goalsquare and salary cap while waiting for Jesse Hogan to arrive at the end of 2017, with an under the table agreement already good as locked in.

Ironically the only thing that may stop the deal from happening is Freo’s form, which may well be dragged in the wrong direction by the over-baked Pav.

All meh, given it's saying the end of 2017, which is still a while away, but we'd wanna start winning and play good enough next year.

At a guess, not one bit of fact in that article. I reckon anyone with an imagination could be a sports writer. Must be hard as you can never afford to wait for facts.

Consistent with everything Lachie has said about loving being with this club.

Clarke's knees are a huge worry for mine. He was very unlucky to collect a knee on knee hit at the first bounce of the first round but he has been hobbling around for a couple of years now. Equally worrying is that his development seems to have ground to a halt either as a result of his knees or because he has no development left in him. I don't mind him as a player but seems to be going sideways at this time.

The Spurr one is a bit of a puzzler. I imagine he'll be even slower come 2017 and 2018 could be completely shot. Have loved what this warrior has done for us over the past few years coming from nowhere but I don't see the need to sign on these old guys longer than necessary. Someone with his footskills and age will not be snapped up on the open market.

We have 10 players on our list to remove before him. Two years is perfect.

Lock Away Hughes and D.Pearce to 2018
Aswell as Uebergang until 2017, surprising he was only on a one year contract to begin with.

I've updated the OP.

with Ueber, i think he must have been on a 1 year contract as he is an older player on the rookie list. This contract extension doesn't mean he will automatically be upgraded to the main list.

Good reward for Hughes who's showing all the signs of being a player. Uber must be proving he was worth the pick if they're extending him so early. And of course always knew Pearce would get re-signed.

For me, Hughes is the really exciting one, and shows that all's not the end of the world at the club. Re-signing while the club's currently winless is a big thing for us.
