Have we any idea of the salary cap and TPP for next season yet? I'm assuming that we could potentially keep a couple of blokes or need to know that before we can offer deals to guys coming out of contract

If we had this guy doing our trades we'd get Hogan, B.Hill, McCarthy and whoever else for Hannath, Dan Parker and pick 104. Plus they'd have to pay Hogans salary for the next 4 years.

You missed Lobb for Suban...

Waiting for the trade season to start to see if any have trade value. Makes sense to wait and see.
With his wafl final display i think suban worth end of second rd pick , what your thought.l

Suban, Barlow, Ballas (getting pushed out)would all get similar coin 300-350k imo. (Probably pav in his last 1yr deal was on this too).
MDB, mzu, clancee probably 250-300k.
Clarke and mayne probably in the 350-450k.

That all adds up if we get rid of 6 out of the 8. Easily a mil or 2 in the cap.

You would imagine free agents would get about 50-100k more at a new club. If clarke left, its possible we get 2 end of 1st or 2nd round compo picks and maybe an end of 3rd. The guys getting pushed out would get similar coin at a new club and should all get us late 2nd rounders or 3rd rounders.

We will also have a cap increase when cba is sorted. We are probably offering cam 450k (was 700k apparently) for 3 yrs and hill 400-450k for 3 yrs. Still a bit of cap space to sign Fyfe up with a bit of front ending. And be able to thow a mil at Hogan or 800k at lobb.

Would leave us with 5 new picks between 20 and 50 on top of pick 39. We trade 2 of them for cam and brad. Pick 3, a 2nd rounder and a good young player, or this and next years 1st's, may get us one of the big fish or we take 5 picks into the draft under 50.

Again.... there are 2 ways Freo will get cap space...

- Trading or Delisting players like Mayne, Clarke, Ballantyne etc.

- Salary cap will increase by at least $5-600,000 this year.

You couldn't get yourself to push his value up just a little more? ;)
Well Suban was mentioned specifically by Fyfe in his Brownlow speech. I think clubs should be aware they might not only pick up a class player in Subes but may have an advantage in prying Fyfe across as well in the future. Think a first rounder for Suban would be a worthy investment for any club.
