I pondered that thought as well, but he just sounded more confident this year as opposed to previous years.

We're at a stage now where the rebuild is largely complete and it's now time to go back up the ladder in the following years.

I've been very critical of Bucks, but in my view I sense the tide will turn next year.

We won't win a flag next year, but I'm more confident about next year than I have been in previous years where people pumped our tyres up whereas I downplayed our chances.

If we go backwards, I'll be the first to say that Bucks needs to go and a full review (independent of the club) needs to be conducted.
