Unlikely that Pendles loses from here but the minor places are up for grabs.

Pendlebury just so consistent.
Another reason why he is so elite.
Been a great back half by Grundy.
Thanks Rob for your work here, love the colour chart too.

It's a two horse race for first now - can Treloar catch Pendles?

Top 3 also locked in, as Adams is ruled out for the year. Amazing effort by Grundy after the bye, scoring 30 of his 36 votes from round 14 onwards.

Given that he holds an unbeatable 6 vote lead now, it's official, our 2016 winner is none other than:

SCOTT PENDLEBURY

The skipper wins his 4th didaka medal (2011, 2014, 2015, 2016) to go with his two runner ups (2012, 2013). In that time he has polled votes in 96 of a possible 131 games. What an absolute champion, so consistent. Will he add a record equaling 5th Copeland to his list of accolades?

Well done to Adam Treloar for finishing runner up in his first season at the club, and also congratulations to Brodie Grundy for his fast finish to end up in third position.

Well said Robert. Pendles is a legend.

Apparently according to some he has had a s**t year yet I noticed he has polled in all but 6 of our games and in at least one of them he went off injured.

Agreed - he's so consistently good I think it leads people to underrate him.

Ah yes, forgot about 1994!

Plenty of time for Pendles to reach Bucks, given his continued excellence.

Mind you, with Treloar starting to move into his peak years Pendles better get in quick...

Fantastic effort Pendlebury.
I have him winning the Copeland from Treloar.
Really can't see anyone getting close to those two.
But how good has Grundy gone this year say about from mid season?
Congratulations Robert on running this so well.

Pendlebury he will cut you up 1000 ways.

Fantastic isn't it.
He's going to new levels.
It's this sort of play that can push us forward next season

Thank you to everyone who voted this year & also a big thanks to Saintly Viewed for keeping things going while I was off on my mid season break in Europe.

The skipper picked up his 4th didaka, but it went right down to the wire & I could honestly see any one of at least five players contending for the award next year.

Also worth noting Treloar's 6 BOGs is the most we've had in a season since some former player named Dayne Beams had 7 in 2012. A most pleasing debut season indeed.

It's been said before but Grundy's second half of the season was phenomenal. Averaged 3.2 votes per game after the bye. If he went at that pace for the entire season, he would have polled 70 votes and won by a huge margin.

Thanks again guys!
