Before you bow out are you able to shed some light on SMS relationship with the Northern Territory. In recent years you have had some terrific young players come from there.
Gary Puruntatameri certainly looks very fast when he gets his hands on the ball and knows how to slot goals. Good luck
I've heard he's great! Gatorboy, do you play for a club or are you just an interested local?

He might make a good scribe if he's not a player
No interest in being a scribe here. Will leave that to the

There are much more talented writers out there! For what it's worth though I would love to see the scribe not just rehash the results which are already visible on the other page but talk footy styles, division's heroes, acknowledge some milestones, social events, rivalries and keep it light hearted without all the extra crap (if that's possible).

Good call gb

While the banter is top notch lets bring it back to footy:

Nobs - to beat WF just, under 3 goal margin
Old Geelong - 12 goals plus win over YV
Ormond to beat SMS - even if SMS had 7 outs the week before it'd doubt that would all return in the following week. The home ground advantage will see the result be within a 2 goal margin. Hoping to see Mal Michael debut on the postage stamp.
PA to beat BT - match of the round, the best rivalry within D1 footy. Another close game, with BT back at full strength I expect them to be contenders in most games for the rest of the season. PA to win only because it's at Toorak Park
The Bear will defeat OM by over 10 goals. My early tip is the bears will take out the minor premiership.

Balmey continue the light-hearted write up's always good to have a chuckle when reading the record, too many other write ups are a re-hash of the VAFA results page.

- NOBS to beat Whitefriars by a single kick.
- Old Geelong to smash Yarra Valley by 50.
- Match of the round at Ferndale Park. Whilst in theory the small ground should be advantageous for Ormond, the Saints have a ridiculously strong record at home and this could be anyones game. If its super close (which I expect it to be) ill side with Ormond, as St Marys seem to struggle in the nailbiters. Ormond by a point.
- Prahran to beat BT. Not sure what happened last week in the BT clash, but I suspect it may be an anomaly and ill side with prahran to beat the old bigger bodies of BT on the big ground at Toorak Park. Prahran by 40.
- Kew to overrun Old Mentone by 50 points. I agree with clutchtime that the Bears are favourites for the minor premiership. Quality, Quality, Quality side.

What are the facilities like at Ferndale

Pretty good but small. They were upgraded only a few years back. You will probably find as much room in the change rooms as you will find on the close wing (carpark side). Canteen facilities also good and there is a shop across the road. Let me know what you think of the dimmies

Round 4:
NOBS/St Pats v Whitefriars
Old Geelong v Yarra Valley
St Mary’s Salesian v Ormond
Prahran Assumption v Bulleen Templestowe
Kew v Old Mentonians

Whats the history behind the PA and BT rivalry?

Good luck to all.

And what a flogging Ormond gave SMS today. Even without 6 of their regular senior players including the captain.

Great effort

Ormond clearly setting the pace now, though apparently SMS were missing 18 A graders, 6 B graders, an interchange steward, bootstudder, senior coach and team mascot.

NOBs ran away from us after we were reduced on the bench with a couple of nasty injuries. We took it up to them to half time, but they showed their class in the second half. Fully deserved the win.

Hopefully SMS remain racked with injuries this week!
