Mature age from Redlands, had a dominant couple of years in the neafl. We jumped in before the Pies did, they were committed to taking him,
Was getting sick of Pies taking QLD talent and turning them into reasonable AFL players. Grewar might surprise a few as he certainly looks like he could play AFL footy.

Actually looks like he's a ranga so we just needed to replenish our stocks after losing a couple to retirements and delistings.

Smart move by the club

Might be a dumb question - how can we pre-list Grewar if he wasn't in the academy?

Qld Zone selection. Wasn't sure that was still a thing, but it must be.

I don't want to sound hyperbolic but how would you compare him to say, a Gary Ablett type player?

Really pleased with the pickup of Grewar. I've though over the years we haven't been willing to use the reservoir of local mature-age talent readily enough.

That consistently show up our own players...

He has nicer hair.

any word on type of player? speed? disposal efficiency? etc etc
LI said 'mature' players.

Otherwise, I'm expecting players who like smooth jazz. We are underrepresented in that aspect, and Fagan seems the type to me to value it highly.

There's news of a late update to the draft order. The Brisbane Lions have pick 37, meaning all subsequent picks move back one spot. That means there are 56 picks up for grabs.

The pre-listed player must've squeezed into a Cat B spot that we didn't know we had free. Looks like we have another 3 now.
