McCluggageSo draft experts, who can we get at our available picks?
Me too. No real reason why, just a hunch.I just hope we can get him!
Gets the ball but not a great runner or kick.Anyone know much about Dylan Clarke. Heard his name a bit mid year but all quiet now.
yep.Just go best available at 27, we will no doubt pick up a few KPP with later/rookie picks and with 2 picks in the first round next year in a draft dominated by talls we are well set
Steele is 187.BIG inside mid and i mean BIG 190+
If we had got Steele for #27 i would have been over the bloody moon
Berry almost certainly won't be there. I'm a bit ambivalent on him. What about Jarrod Berry? He is a 191cm midfielder/half-back apparently and performed well in the trial if I am not mistaken.
What do people think about him at #27? Would he last until then or would there be better available according to what you guys know?

If the following were available at 27:
Daniel Venables 186cm 81kg Mid/Fwd
Sam Powell-Pepper 186cm 83kg Mid
Jack Graham 183cm 83kg Mid
Brad Scheer 184cm 83kg Mid
Who would you take, and yes I understand Scheer is an academy kid for Suns but having traded out their late picks they won't have much to match a bid with.
Bishop would take SPP for sure. Loves him.Bishop richoatthedisco

Piper will be there at 56, and Graham might well be (I wouldn't take him if he was).
So we have 27, 56, 82 and 100.
Assume we use the first 3 and then promote a rookie (Castagna or Short?).
Only have three spots on our list according to my calculations. Will use the first three, but bummed we didn't get back into the first round to be honest. Would rather a Pick at 15 this year than next year.
isn't the top end next year meant to be better? and a deeper draft this year?
two first round picks for a KPP draft is great going, especially when its a weakness.
Tough one between Venables and Powell-Pepper. I suspect both will be gone. Not a fan of Graham.Bishop richoatthedisco

I wouldn't mind if we do. He's only around 177cm but strongly built, very quick and a good boot on him.dont be surprised if we call out his name on draft night, is what i have been told.
but recruiting teams play funny games so who knows.
The Cats' first will be closer to 5 than 15 is my prediction.Only have three spots on our list according to my calculations. Will use the first three, but bummed we didn't get back into the first round to be honest. Would rather a Pick at 15 this year than next year.
It's way too early to say how deep next year's draft is. Players always pop up - look at McCluggage, McGrath and Taranto this year.Deeper draft this year, next year better on 'talent' in the top 10 because of talls. But the two best are academy tied and the others eg: Balta & Stephenson could well be top 5-7 so out of our pick range.
I'd rather an (mid) Ollie Florent at 13-15 this year, than a (mid) Jack Higgins at Pick 15-18 next year for example.
