I'd still like another developing ruck who is a bit more of a known quantity. Goetz doesn't kick on and then what? We have a weak enough ruck division as it is and Will is almost done. I think we need another developing ruck on the list and this year is a good opportunity to take one.

I agree. I'm bullish about Goetz, but this year is a great chance to get another ruck who, as you said, is a little more certain. If they both come on, then great, Goetz seems like he'll do well up forward so we can play both of them. Goddard, Sweet, Meek, Ladhams, Strnadica, I'd like to see us grab whoever we like best who is available.

By the way, what do we reckon about Parfitt? If he stays the course, he's likely to project around where we'd be selecting our first-rounder, and he's got the skill and flair I really think we could do with. Pretty good all-round, and seems like a type Dal would be willing to hedge a selection on; natural winner of the pill, and runs hard and fast. I like him a lot.

Parfitt needs to improve his kicking & apparently its a common knock on him, but I haven't noticed his kicking be poor when I've seen him

Parfitt has a lot of traits that I do like but I feel that he will slide out of the first round for two reasons his height and his disposal can be let down at times.

Feel if we went small we'd like Jy Simpkin and I'm interested in seeing Kym LeBois. Another who could I feel could bolt into the first round is Tim Taranto and he has quite a few traits that Dalrymple likes.

Only saw him in the Werribee v Academy game but he seemed to move well for a big guy.

I feel similar right now with Galluci
Except that he can disappear out of games but when he is on, he is great to watch

I generally rate consistent players higher a lot higher than players who don't have it. That is why Gallucci is outside the top 20 of my rankings at the moment and Parfitt is around the same mark I doubt either will get picked inside the first round. If they can fix up some of those weak points however...

Parfitt has been alright. One of the best players ATM. I like the look of Olango.

Dodge has been alright should have had a goal or two because of him but Tassies finishing is horrendous.

I want the Ruckman. The fourth efforts, yes fourth! Are really good.
Still doesn't know how to tap to advantage but there is so much agility, pace and work rate to be really valuable. Needs a bit of work on the handball but really a lot to work with.
