I have also just seen the footage of the 1st incident Ben Ainsworth got suspended for (which he got 3 weeks for). It is the closest thing I have seen to Barry Hall's punch on Brent Staker. Ainsworth got a little shove as they were running through the middle of the ground, he then stopped, turned around and punched the Cannons player straight in the face (and did not hold back, hence the 2 compound fractures to James Peters' jaw).
Do we want another hot head? For those wondering about the Ainsworth suspension here us a discription of it from the phantom drafts board.
DO NOT WANTDo we want another hot head?
I know we need quite a bit more campaigner in the team, as we have many gentle souls. He is probably going to drop a lot in the draft now too.... interesting to see how he turns out.
He really needs to learn rib and collarbone punches. Really hurt and unlikely to get suspended.

Just been hearing from the brother of a good friend that this isn't the first time. The brother has played against him before. Highly unlikely we or anyone will touch him if that is the case.DO NOT WANT

Keep a eye out on this bloke. Played as a outside midfielder last year for dandy and was moved to a inside role this year and is quickly moving up the draft boards to a point one he could be a top 30 pick
Will probably play some VFL this year as a 23rd man. He played for Casey Development team during the pre season and didnt look out of place
From the 4 games i have seen his disposals has improved ten folds. He only just missed out last year imo.
Was really inconsistent with his disposal last year from memory which was probably why he wasn't picked up.
Late or rookie pick at this stage.
Brisbane will be fortunate in the same way we were when Libba and Wallis came around, their academy players will fit what they need pretty well.
PROMISING forward Todd Marshall ended a week where he was in the headlines with a solid performance for NSW/ACT in their 101-point thumping of Tasmania at Blundstone Arena on Saturday.
Marshall kicked two goals, grabbed four marks and collected 14 possessions, including 11 kicks, as the Rams won their second straight game in the Division Two NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.
Greater Western Sydney was denied priority draft access to 198cm Marshall although he lives in its academy zone.
Marshall, who hails from Deniliquin, only signed with the Giants as an academy prospect in recent weeks.
The teenager returned to football with the Murray Bushrangers in the TAC Cup after spending the past two winters playing cricket overseas.
The draft prospects of gun midfielder Kobe Mutch continue to soar after another impressive outing.
The Giants will be excited about Mutch after he collected 26 disposals, seven clearances, four inside 50s and a goal.
Wagga Tigers product Connor Byrne was the leading ball-winner on the ground with 28 possessions to go with eight clearances and five tackles.
Under-ager Jack Powell is one to watch for next year's NAB AFL Draft, the Canberra midfielder working hard to grab 24 possessions.
Ruckman Max Lynch was a constant threat around the ground with 24 hit-outs and 13 disposals.
Up forward, Ben Davis and Mitch Maguire shared the spoils with four goals each.
For Tasmania, Nick Dodge was a shining light in a beaten team, amassing a game-high 24 kicks, 10 tackles, five clearances, five inside 50s and five rebound 50s.
AFL academy member Ben McGuinness had a quiet outing with just five touches, while 16-year-old Tarryn Thomas was voted best on ground for the hosts.
In the final round, Tasmania takes on Queensland and NSW/ACT faces NT, with both games at Metricon Stadium on May 22.

Jordan Gallucci if he can get some sort of consistency.I've decided that if we can't take the man with the greatest name ever (Josh Battle) then I want an Italian inside mid to finish off our new generation #wogsquad. So who is joining Libba and Bontempelli to do that?
