I call dibs on Oscar Junker.
Berry is my guy, but
I know this means that the Saints probably take him now..he would compliment either our midfield or our half back line

I just hope GWS don't get their hands on Battle, I want our guys to at least have the option of selecting him
And if they pass, then so be it.

Where is Junker likely to go in the order(rough range)? Second round somewhere?

From the game I saw, he was really impressive offensively but had a poor game defensively, which wasn't exactly helped by all of the repeat entries into defense .

Also I really have liked Parfitt & obviously Galluci, who look like they could be floating around that second round pick. If we don't trade it ..obviously

Just read the article on Romero from the media thread. Guess that means he hasn't been playing for Calder much ala Hunter. Can tac cup watchers confirm? Thanks

Korewha backed up his performance from last week, far less handball recieves but more contested marks and higher disposal efficiency.

Played mostly midfield/forward this week. Has been really impressive considering he hasn't had a preseason. Ditto Dundon.

late first round - late second roughly. If he continues to play well as a midfielder then he'll lock himself in the top 25 considering his height and skill set.

He is playing school footy like half the other TAC Cup boys.
So he's playing for Calder as well? Just haven't seen his name in the bests or as a goal kicker over the last few weeks so thought he might not be playing. Just not playing well then.

Wizard17 Patrick Kerr a reasonable option in the 2nd round if we can't get our hands on Battle/Marshall?

Kerr has slid down my rankings a fair bit since the start of the year. He will be around our second but I can see a few options that are better at this stage. No need to reach when next year's group is looking so good.

Everything I've heard suggests GWS trades out all their top picks, so not much chance they get Battle. Apparently Scully's dad is their only scouter working outside the academy.

Because they don't need scouts outside their academy programs

With Redpath out exposes our tall forward options. Any viable options at pick 18?
:-)

Are you saving the NT 'small forward' for the rookie draft?

I'm sure this has been mentioned but how much elite talent is at the top of this years draft? Similar to 2012 with lots of depth? Or 2013 with an elite top 5 then a substantial drop of?

Very good draft for ruck, classy midfielders, 3rd talls/Utilities and good for small forwards.

It is quite a deep draft this year.

Next year is looking like a monster imo.

Thanks wizard liked the look of berry last year and thought he would be going early. Has his game regressed or have others just gone past him?

Wouldn't mind trading up, seeing if we can pinch the Pies' first rounder they have then. Not sure who we'd pick but a top 4 pick in any draft is gold.

I want Battle, so Geelong's or GWS' first rounder would be a good (and more realistic) target. Collingwood's is probably overkill for Battle.
