Have you ever seen Callum Twoomey & Wizard in the same room before? :O

I agree with you regarding Junker, I wasn't that impressed with his numbers but its what he does with the ball that seems very similar to the way we play or at least that's how the Jets coach used him..
Wizard17 > Twoomey. Can't possibly be the same person.

Twoomey the evil twin?
I've met Twoomey, he is actually a real nice person
He always has that one or two players I don't agree should be inside his top 20 players but he is right that clubs usually select a few smokies very early sometimes
Like Adelaide last year with Tom Doedee

Yeah but he goes for Essendon so he must be the evil twin of the two

These players need to be our priorities:
Tim English
Todd Marshall
Griffin Logue
Patrick Kerr
Josh Battle
also we should recruit Dion Johnstone as a category B rookie.

Typical Western Bulldog supporter "We need to recruit any KPP" post.

Can understand English and Logue because they have both played senior footy and suit our game style but Marshall is yet to dominate a game, Battle's form was quite poor leading into the finals but could push himself back up with a good finals season and Kerr is more an early second round pick.

Not going to lose anything by cat B rookieing Johnstone.

Marshall will never get to our pick, and we'd rather forwards who can play from day 1 anyway. Same with English. I reckon Logue needs to test really well to prove he'll be a dominant mid. Not sure these guys are priorities, in fact, I don't reckon we have any priorities for players; we're not a struggling club who has serious holes to fill. I reckon a half-forward who can kick goals and run through the midfield, a goalkicking medium tall, versatile medium defender (Ridley, Duman), mobile ruckman, tall swingman, pacey inside mid would all be ideal selections.

understand what youre saying, but im not saying we would need to recruit a KPP every pick of the draft we have, but just use our first one, to get a quality KPP into the squad, happy to use later picks on smaller players who can play other positions, and those suggestions were just for that first pick.

Perhaps not a priority but I do think we need to add a legitimate burst mid to our list, especially considering Jong is likely to head elsewhere in 2017. Fortunately if we don't add a very good one with our first pick we can add a decent one with a later pick.

The bulk of our best players last night were late picks and rookies and I really rate Dalrymple's work after his first (part time) draft.

Definitely need another developing KPF that plays forward

I still prefer bidding on Sproule above the rest of those guys, he has some good size to him already so he would possibly not need to spend most of his developing years getting his frame ready.

Like Battle he has great endurance, he is a really good height for a KPP. He has shown glimpses where he has played as good or better than Marshall.

I just like him a lot, I'd expect GWS would match it. They are tall hoarders :( .

Burst mid? Sounds like a job for Daniel Venables.

Don't think Stringer could become that?
Although it'd be very nice to have more than one.. :D

Ben Ronke perhaps. I'm a big fan of his, he was going to play for us in the VFL team then Calder offered him a contract apparently. I'd imagine we have a fair bit of interest.

As harsh as it sounds I have my doubts about Stringer developing the tank to stay in the midfield for most of the game, nor does he have the concentration for it either.
He's A grade when on song but will always have quiet patches. I think a genuine full time burst mid would shape our list, perhaps even two noting that our best mids don't have much in the way of acceleration from the stoppage with the exception of Dahlhaus if he gets space.

Yeah I saw that. I was too lazy to edit it

I can tell you that I used another word with a F early in our game last night but it wasn't F for forward
:D
When Biggs kicked it straight to Kennedy. Yeah a did that too :D

Interested to see how Nick Larkey goes in the remaining finals could be a good KPP utility with development.
