it was all about who got an invite to draft night on the 25th, Venables and Marshall were 2 that didn't get invites. Anderson was saying usually the clubs nominate who to come to the draft and that they usually invite around 15. they want the top 10 up on stage when selected.

they are assuming if you are not invited you are not a top 10 chance.

Where will Marshall end up ?
I have a feeling he will slide .

If he made it to pick 23 I would be all for him joining the Saints.

Could start as a defender and swing forward. If he shows enough as a forward then by the time he is 23/24 he could be putting the heat on Josh Bruce to hold a spot in the team.

Brown is a stop gap and McCartin has had his issues. Getting another quality tall would be perfectly reasonable from a longer term POV.

Hawthorn are well into Patrick Bines (Basketball Player) same with a few other clubs but Hawthorn is definitely pursuing him the most.

Gold Coast have 4 of the top 10 but will only be 3 of the top 10 because GWS will muscle in with their first academy player.
