Josh Battle to the Cats at 24. I'm hoping Cedric Cox, Shai Bolton or SPP slides to us at Pick 38 and I really think we need Zac Fisher at Pick 42 cause he's ready made.

Cox, Bolton, and SPP are probably top 30 talents, but in such an even draft the chance of one of them sliding to pick 38 is more than reasonable. We just don't know for sure how AFL clubs rate these kids.

Rumour is that bonner was seen as a massive flight risk and that is why he slid. The other two had questions over their skills and speed. I don't see those problems with spp cox and Bolton.

Balic slid because of a serious wrist injury. No question on his skills and speed. Would have gone to 5 without the injury. Most teams thought it was career threatening. Cheer ripe now.

I watched his draft machine highlights this morning. Have seen him live once on the TV.

Kid reminds me of Fyfe with a better kick.

If our guys reached at 7, I'd probably raise an eyebrow briefly...but not much more than that.

It was definitely his wrist. His third surgery last year was successful, but if it was unsuccessful they were going to fuse his wrist and he was going to retire.
