i had a listen and yes it confirms the rumour however anderson really couldn't understand the logic of why the lions would not bid on him. he was basically supporting everything i and others who share my view have been saying.
Ive quoted you cal twomeys mock draft pod cast from a couple of days ago which clearly summarises why lions should bid on bowes.
i guess time will tell whose expert is correct.
Because Anderson rates Bowes as the second best kid in the draft. Brisbane may not. Essendon and GWS clearly do not. Cal Twomey has been saying for a while now that it's pretty clear McCluggage and McGrath have separated themselves as the clear top two prospects. Then your left the next group of four who really did not play that well in the U18 Championships.
Bowes was largely anonymous for the Allies.
Brodie carried a knock through the championships and was possibly a little burnt out after being the star performer early in the season in the AFL academy games.
SPS had hammy problems all year.
And Ainsworth missed time due injury and suspension.
And both you and Anderson clearly wear your Victorian glasses. It's been mentioned so many times, but you fail to give it any credence, the QLD clubs possibly have a different view towards bidding on each other academy prospects. Both sets of supporters clearly think the same.
