Right...so you know more about his knees than Hawthorn who have sold the farm to get him and Gold Coast who offered him $700k+ per season to stay? And the Swans as well?

Rightio
If your criteria for commentary is knowing more than the footy club then let's just shut the board down eh?

Even if we ended up with losing Tom Mitchell & getting Omeara, even though i'm concerned that his knee can last, I would love the fact the Hawks sold their soul thinking they would get him.
I say tgere is no chance we would get him but am very amused that this tweet popped up today knowing what i have heard from the same bloke that told me about Buddy.
Surely not?

i think i would enjoy the hawks failure more than Jom winning the brownlow for us next year.

Imagine selling the farm and shipping off 2 club legends only for your nemesis to take the rug from under you

Who gives a crap about Nanka, you would think he is Ablett going on by the comments of some of you blokes. We got an OK #2 in Sinclair plus we'll draft a ruck with a pick 50+. We still have a Round 1 pick and might get a gun midfielder like JOM
I don't give a crap about Nanks as such and I certainly don't think he's better than he is. What I give a crap about is that we may be about to reduce our big men stocks overall. Even then I wouldn't care too much if it wasn't for the fact that those that we have left seem constantly at risk of injuring themselves if they simply get out of bed too quickly.

I further give a crap that everyone seems to be having multiple wanks over a youngster who has yet to prove that he can even get on the field on anything resembling a regular basis, or, even if he does, that he can perform at a reasonable level of effectiveness. And it appears we might give away our 14 pick as well. In other words, we're effectively giving up Mitchell and Tippett for a cripple who's been out of the game for two years!

Okay, I'm overstating things a bit but there's still a hell of a risk if this trade comes off.

P.S. Given the timeline, have the Swans already given the lad a thorough medical or will they fit it in tomorrow somehow?

just posting what i read elsewhere
No I understand..all good.

Yes i trust Tony Sheahan because I know he's not putting out BS info. His reputation is on the line. So he got that info from an agent who knows. That's why I'm sure. I know we have offered Tippett & 14 and we are in the running.

Lets' hope we get him tomorrow ;-)
