Gws are going to get picks back for Marchbank, Pickett, and hoskin elliot plus probably stewart .... Whether we are keen on the GWS academy players or not is irrelevant they will have enough points to match our bid.

Surely ... there is no way we would trade 14 and 17 for pick 10.
We are a chance on Perryman if Setterfield gets bid on around 5-7 as looks like Giants will trade on Marchbank pick to get Deledio and Pickett only going for 56.

We've lost it if we do pick 17 and 14 for 10.

It can't be that because as silly as this trade period has been why would u guys do that.

Unless it involves Tippett and some salary cap relief for you guys.

I must say that you guys and us seem to have a very good rapport at trade time.

The Hawks have hit a roadblock with the GCS insisting on a player from us yet they did not say the same to Richmond for Prestia.

We will give the Hawks pick 14 & 17 for pick 10.
I don't think so and I sincerely hope not. I'm not sure how it'll work to get pick 10, it obviously depends on if we want it outright or if we're going for a 14 or 17 upgrade.

Between GC and Hawthorn, if we somehow end up with 10 and GC's 2nd next year I'd be wrapt.

Or, if GC admit defeat and just go for points then our 17 and 39 is of more value than pick 10... maybe Hawthorn come to us with that idea in mind.

Tigers list is weaker in comparison to the Hawks and there is nothing to say they didn't put players up for trade. Suns may have knocked them back.

I will say if we help the Dawks get a midfield jet without somehow making our list magically better and salary cap issues disappear forever I will hunt down Harley and Beatson and do really bad things to them.
Agreed. Regardless of how well O'Meara may or may not go we appear to be helping the Hawks get what they want (after rolling over on the Mitchell deal). We should only do that if there is a very very clear advantage for us - and I certainly don't see anything yet that fits that description.

Yeah!
Great rapport!
As long as we are assuming the reaming position!

Hawks need two first round picks. I'm sure there would be other pick swaps etc. to finalise trade.

Of course there has to be something in it for you guys, who knows it may all fall over and we all keep our picks/players and JOM heads to the ND.

Who the hell knows what is going on in this crazy trade period.

What I do know is this is just the tip of the iceberg and in future years this whole trade thing will get out of hand and it will tear at the fabric of our game.

I ******* hate it.
