We'll lose a couple more at least.

Graham, Whiley, Gowers, Sheehan & Buckley either know their fate by now, or are are very nervous about it.
Ball's supposedly in Buckley's court. Would hope that the same is true for Gowers, and Sheehan will come down to outside interest and his injury status I guess.

Graham and Whiley are the easiest to chop from here.

I don't care who we get really, as we here have not conducted the interviews and recruiters should know these guys inside out by now.
It says something that I just hope we dont **** it up. I would have loved a pick around 8 this year in addition to 5.

Reckon one of Scrimshaw, Brodie, Taranto and Ainsworth will drop that low, and I honestly cant split them with arguments for each.

I want the right character. Whoever has the strongest desire to succeed form the guys we're discussing for pick #5, would be the guy I'd take.....even if others may have a trick or two more.

We've had enough that don't put in over the course and that only drags down the overall tone of things.
Brodie has an urgent will to desire and if he does slot into a team ethic, then he may just do.

If we pick up a few mids this year it should leave us in a better position to be able to let Gibbs go. Adelaide have already said they'll come after him next year.

For pick 5 one of Brodie, Taranto, or Scrimshaw if we're certain he'll be a mid at AFL level.
Don't know who'll be around pick 25 but Gallucci, Powell-Pepper, Drew would be good.

My best case scenario is Ainsworth with 5 then Gallucci with 25 however I think both might be gone by there respective picks.

So I think I would be happy with either Brodie or Taranto as well as Battle or Powell Pepper

Yep, would love this guy for a late pick. Plays like a traditional lead up full forward. I would prefer to play this guy over both Casboult and Jones to be honest.
Have you heard of, or do you see any other suitors in the National Draft?

The positive is it looks like at least one of Brodie or Taranto will be there at pick 5.

If I had a gun to my head and had to pick one, it would be Brodie.

Some serious underselling of this kid going on, it feels like people are trying to make points on why Taranto will be better.

I wanna like this post over and over, so using said attributes potential recruits should look like

Oliver Florent
Lost his old man 8 weeks ago in the lead up to the finals and the all star game and was clearly in the best for both games. Sensational kid who squeezes every ounce out suss out his tests in the combine.

Jarrod Berry
Screams future captain at AFL Level if he can get beyond his injuries.

Hamish Brayshaw
Captained a side that contained Andrew McGrath, played this TAC Cup season with a broken bone in his foot. Basically got the best out of himself aswell

Florent is an absolute beauty, if Gibbs had been traded with 13 going our way, I would have picked Florent there.

Very true.

And...

**** Adelaide. If Gibbs still wants to leave, we'll try to deal with Port if they've sorted their TPP problems out!

I rate so many more guys in front of Gallucci, he will go late second, early third

Always a few that slip but yes it is unlikely. Bolton seems a bit of a pump ball long type of player which I believe will make him drop. Probably more likely 35-40.
Given GC have 4 picks, if SPS is gone in the top 3, Bolton could be picked at in the top 10. They love that type of player. So does GWS, especially with pick 15
