I am not offended just amazed that people are concerned about him given he is not playing.
Did OK against the Tigers
Injured early against the swans but came back and did some good things despite the initial injury looking like he was finished for the day.
Was average against GC and didn't get up for the next week.
Hasn't played the last 7 weeks in the firsts due to injury.
He may not make it but surely it is to make any sort of judgement.

Okay at best in the seniors so far.

Never had a extended period in the VFL where he was killing it as well.

Because I was totally talking about the weeks he didn't play
Boekhorst has not set the world on fire, in fact I'm sure most fans are concerned. No need to get offended about it.
So you were just talking about the 1 game he played before injuring himself then. Ok

Is there any chance that you three muppets could stick to the topic of the thread ??

There are a multitude of places to talk about any of the existing players but this thread isn't one of them.

I haven't really looked much at this year's draftees yet (what little there is to see anyway), but I'm interested to hear about the status of some of last year's that missed out and how they're tracking this year (some in the state comps).

Aside from Bradley and Kerbatieh, a couple that comes to mind are Stephen Tahana and Jadyn Brind. Tahana's running around again for North Adelaide, while Brind is in West Adelaide's squad, but yet to play at either level of the SANFL comp.

Has Brind given up the game? He looked a decent talent last year.

Clearly I was referring to our need for pacey midfielders since I'm not sold on Boekhurst.

It's hardly my fault if you missed that point.

So I guess we aim for two picks in the top 20 and get ourselves a couple of well-rounded mids with a good appetite for contested ball?
I could see SOS taking another young KP player though, if the right situation arose.

Todd Marshall and Josh Battle are the two best available Key forwards.
We will most likely know if they are top 10 type prospects, by the end of the up coming national champs.
Will Bordie best contested ball player ATM, Sam Powell Pepper also very good at contested stuff.
Off season is going to be very interesting this year. Very interested to see how SOS plays things.

Another who could be a handy pickup at around #10:

Andrew McGrath

Club: Sandringham Dragons/Vic Metro

Position: Midfielder

Size: 178cm, 75kg

DOB: 02/06/1998

Plays like: Jack Macrae

AFL clubs will have no questions when it comes to McGrath’s fitness, as he is already an elite athlete thanks to an outstanding junior athletics career. His biggest achievement was winning the Victorian state 400m hurdle title at the state junior athletic championships in 2014. McGrath then focused his attention on footy in 2015 and showed tremendous temperament playing in the midfield, averaging 23 disposals and five tackles from his final four games for the Dragons. His high disposals efficacy was also a highlight. Subsequently, McGrath was named the club’s best first year player at season’s end.

*Also school and footy captain of Brighton Grammar obviously showing leadership

Brodie and P-P look real nice.
If Ainsworth was available at our first pick we'd have to consider him, serious talent despite his size.

We don't have a forward that plays like him, but hasn't been as impressive so far this year.
Will miss the first game of champs due to suspension.
I just have this feeling Jordan Gallucci is the player we want this year.

Elite foot skills is not something that this draft has a lot of.
A lot of good kicks and ok kicks, but not a lot of elite kicks ATM.

There are bad skills, and then there is bad decision-making.

If you don't make the right choices, then you can be devastating to your team. In a gameplan built around team defence and structure, it's important to recognise what you need to do and when.

Powell-Peppers is low down on my list. I like McLuggage, Petrovski-Seton, Gallucci, Parfitt and Scharenberg from what I have seen

His not that high on mine. I said he was up there with Brodie with contested stuff.
Dylan Clarke also has a fair contested game.
Petrovski-Seton probably the best kick in the draft ATM.
Really like to get Jordan Gallucci to the club. Has that good mix of inside and outside game.
His a goal kicker too. Seen him kick a ripper goal last year for Metro, was GAJ like.
Quite a few Metro players I'm keen to keep an eye on this year.

Seems like good mids run pretty deep this year. An ideal off-season would see us nab a couple in the top 20 and possibly lure Jack Steele over.

The three for me are the three j's,

jarrod berry big bodied midfielder imo with leadership potential could slide with a shoulder injury 2015 all Australian.

Josh battle, is going to be a power forward I'm not bothered by his 193cm body. Very hoganesq imo.

Jordan Galucci, inside outside mid who i think is flying under the radar because he's not as good at the inside work as brodie and not as good at the outside work as SPS. Got a bit of menzel about him.

Unless there are reasons for poor disposal, SOS just won't be interested.

Even though we're still making some mistakes, our back-line showcases why good disposal is so important.
You can build systems where players may get more of the ball but you can't then have them hand it back to the opposition.
