Last year they were talking about Goddard, the then under-aged ruckman from WA, as being the next big thing. I wouldn't be too adverse to taking him late in the ND or in the rookie draft if he slid that far.

I must admit that I didn't watch too many of the matches involving WA. That's interesting to know.

Doesn't look like he is deliberately ducking into the tackles either. He just gets low and attacks the ball. Sure sign of a good inside mid to my thinking

Unless he does something seriously wrong and manages to slide. But if you listen to some of the posters here, we are heading straight for another wooden spoon because every other team is going to improve, but we won't!

I don't really pay attention to those that think like that. I reckon at best we'll finish 10th and at worst 14th.

Thats what I was actually thinking as well. With the guys we trade in, we are going be able to have a lot more talent out there on the field each week... and the guys who are currently out there that are low B grade players or even C grade players will be reduced to being purely depth players in the future

What is the rule around drafting players on other clubs Rookie list, I have been a big fan of Nick O'Kearney since he played as a junior and was super surprised he wasnt drafted last year, found his way onto Stkildas rookie list and since coming back from injury has been very good for Sandringham.. If Stkilda wont elevate him onto the senior list are we able to draft him?? If so I reckon he would be well worth a late pick.

If they offer him another year and he doesn't take it, he goes into the draft, while if they delist him he becomes a delisted free agent.

He's got all the skills except looking like he can leap enough to be a competitive ruck. Can he play key position, that's the question.

Would love him solely for the fact that the Kerr bloodline would continue to flow through Princes Park!

Sounds like a 2nd rounder won't get it done, but how do we land ourselves another first rounder?!

I can't wait to see what SOS has up his sleeve this year, but I'm certainly not foolish enough to expect an outcome nearing that of 2015.

Nice video. Not as athletic as Nic Nat but seems to move OK and is solid with the ball. Like the ground level work
Expect he will go late first round or second round, say 12-30.
