Has anyone watched Logue?
Intriguing ability.....on paper.

Logue has been a personal favorite of mine from watching the Champs games. I've had him in the 13-18 range since then. Guy plays with power and good urgency/positivity. Nice kick too.

It is only miniscule, but also heartening to see him listed at 194 now. Up from 193.

I really like him and if Marchbank doesn't come about i reckon this guy could even be a better option for about the same draft price.

From my viewing, Brodie is more than a 200 game workhorse. He has his share of class too. Not slow either. Not quick, but not slow.

Like him a lot. IMO, extremely slim chance of slipping out of the Top 3.
Can be very athletic also (vertically), did have a lot of issues with calf injuries at a young age but appears to be on top of that from what I can gather.

Agree Brodie is possible (although not likely) - so would really hate to trade pick #5 as our focus should be on quality particularly in the middle.

Would be a dream to get Bodie (#5), Scrimshaw (#11 Tuohey), Kerr (#23).
Apparently brodie doesnt want to travel interstate which could help us.

I see Brodie as the Wines or Selwood of the 2016 Draft. Highly touted but (hopefully) slips to around 6/7 (our pick) and ends up being one of the best, if not the best. Might not be the most talented, but with his drive - it'd take something miraculous to stop he reaching 200-250 games. Could end up captaining a premiership side if he's drafted to the right club.

That's my absolute number one dream scenario.

Brodie the inside bull, Scrimshaw some outside x-factor and Kerr the Carlton blooded key forward. Please get it done!

Brodie is the safest bet of the top 5-6 IMO.

Questions on the others:

McLuggage - Body type, size
Ainsworth - Forward/Mid? Goalkicking
SPS - Form against bigger bodies
McGrath - Too small?
Bowes - Lack of performance this year.

Brodie has some queries about his kicking and his choices under pressure, but has that great body type and consistency doing what he does that convinces you he will be great at the next level.

According to Twomey here, we'd get our hands on Petrevski-Seton.
Let's get our hands on Petrevski-Seton.

McLuggage will go to Essendon
Brisbane will bid on Bowes forcing GWS to match bids
Brisbane will take Marshall
Fremantle will take SPS
Carlton will take Brodie

At least thats what happens right before I wake up.

Top end still sounds so good. McLuggage probably the only player we're guarenteed not to get a shot at but Brodie, SPS and McGrath sound fantastic. I'd also be putting a bit on Bowes regardless.

Some players with a lot of upside in the 10-20 range, Scrimshaw and Venables the pick of the bunch for mine.

Picks in the 20-30 range will be very valuable, i like the look of Clarke, Berry, Rotham and Powell-Pepper and a few others, shouldnt throw them away lightly

Biggest thing for me, and I've been pretty vocal about Clarke is that on the big stage (championships) he averaged most disposals, clearances, contested possessions & hard ball gets and is a tackling machine. Powerful and a 2way gut runner. He is exactly the midfielder we need and I think will become identical to Libba from WB but a taller version. We reached for Cripps, I'd reach for Clarke.

Rumour is that Hugh Mc will go at 1
Brisbane will take Mcgrath at 2
Freo will take Petrovski-seton at 3
(Hopefully bid on Bowes and make GCS take him)
GCS take bowes
Blues get Brodie

If that happens then we are laughing. Dead set gun and him and Cripps will rip teams a new A-hole!
Is Brodie and Cripps to much of the same player or are they quiet different?
