Why is that on the Carlton page?
Strange that all club sites put random draft videos up. Just filling in time I think.
Yeah would much prefer Ridley to Duman. Looks a better player.
I would take him at 25 if no-one i liked in the teens slid. I know we need mids but i just don't rate the ones suggested to be around at 25. Don't like the AFL prospects of players like Clarke, Gallucci or Drew.
Poholke and Ridley are 2 players around the mid order that i quite like. If we could snare them at 25 and 48 in whatever order, i'd be pretty pleased. But i know that is a longshot.
I've said it before, but we are now a competant outfit...not perfect, but competant. So i'm happy to watch and see what they do.
1st and 2nd Picks - best available.
Some of those mid range mids will still be there at our 3rd and 4th, so have a try with one or two of them there i reckon.
I understand, that 2nd pick is interesting, but don't believe we should over think it. There are always guys that slide out depending if other sides are looking at, best available or needs. I would take Fisher in front of Poholke/Ridley, due to playing at league level before injuring his wrist. Showed he could handle bigger bodies, which is amazing given his frame. I am comfortable that our 2nd rounder will be a good selection

Sorry ArrOw I really don't know anything about Ridley. I don't anything about any of the boys other than Duman, because I've seen him in the flesh. All I can say is I rate him highly, and if his head is right, he'll be a very very good AFL footballer...

Yep, shades of Lachie Neale, Zach Merrett, with a little bit of that Luke Dahlhaus desperation. Reckon #25 is a good spot to grab him, unless someone we rate in the first round slides out.
If he wants it enough, he's gonna be a fan favourite in a few years, wherever he ends up.

Agree Harker I can just see SOS fall n love with romantics of having Silvagni X 3 and a Taranto all good Italian roots running area in Navey Blue it would just like the old days.I'm more and more convinced we'll take Taranto in 2 weeks time.

The way he's come from way out bush not even speaking Australian English to where he is now, you can see why Bolts would be keen on the kid. He seems extremely teachable.
If that is the Mitch Honeychurch/Nick Holman story, I think it has some truth.
