Hey LemmingMaster

Wondering if you're doing a phantom this year?

I have my rough rankings list, just not sure I want to deal with the phantom abuse.

Plus, my information and viewing this year is way down. Not really sure it is worth my typing.

Reading Quigs and Snoop do theirs, has tempted me to produce something, I may get something down tomorrow.

There is no doubt SPS is extremely talented, arguably the most talented pure midfielder in the draft. The one concern for me, is his lack of scoreboard pressure over the last 2 years

I've been lurking in the shadows of Bigfooty Cyberspace for most of this trade/draft period this year; our group has a few well rounded peops floating around, HARKER Aphrodite , The Old Dark Navy's just to name a few, most of us love TheSheik regardless if we agree with him or not (still ready for a Latte in Mosman), MrsCoach16 and MrCoach16 have been a breath of fresh air and then then you have the token cards such as ferrisb, LanceRomance and thylacine60. (we have a great bunch) But after a few schooners tonight i feel the need; the need to pledge my utmost allegiance to Arr0w. well informed, well rounded, knowledgeable, knows the game.... i played the game for 20 years, coached kids for a few years since but you my friend make the most sense to me. obviously don't know your background but imagine you have a story or two and maybe a bit to do with the kids coming through? Thankyou for making the most football sense this year Arr0w!

Love how passionate we all are Blueblood75 , cheers :thumbsu:

EQ also has Sam Pepper Powell going as late as pick 21 would be awesome get with our 2nd if that somehow happened
Read somewhere that SPP improved his kicking on last year but remains a poor kick, though hard at it. Anticipate we are looking for good disposal in our draft choices.

I don't get why EQ has Ainsworth at 6 but rates him going 2-5.
Like all journalists in this space, including Callum Twomey, EQ has an opinion on the draftees and an opinion on whether a club will choose for best available or for a list hole. Clubs rate players differently too and the journalists speculate on this.

For example, there is a lot of speculation GWS at pick 2 want McGrath for a list hole (up and comer to replace Heath Shaw) and if the * take McGrath at 1, then GWS might overlook McLuggage (who was touted top 2 most of the year) for Ainsworth, who would fill another list hole (up and comer to replace Stevie J).

He top scored in the goal kicking test at the draft combine, so maybe his set shot kicking has improved but not his field kicking.

He also did well in the clean hands test......btw how does this test work. Does some guy go around and check players hands for dirt under their fingernails or something?

It would be nice if our first 2 picks both play serious game time in 2017.
Add that to last years 5 picks all playing and the GWS boys, and the side is being reborn.

Cant be too much to ask for another Bont can it ?

The more I read and read between lines, the more I feel we take SPS at 5.
Taranto would be my choice but SOS gets paid to do this stuff.

Goal Kicking Test

Four 'man on the mark' apparatus and goalposts are required. The apparatus are set up at various distances from goal and on specific angles. The player is required to take five kicks for goal: two set shots, a right-foot snap, a left-foot snap and a kick on the run. He must complete the test in a maximum of 50 seconds

Clean Hands Test

It requires six takes and six handballs and must be completed in a maximum of 35 seconds.
The player takes the ball and then receives a random instruction from a caller; he must then handball (6 metres left or right, 8 metres left or right and 10 metres left or right) to a target. The ball will be kicked to him three times and rolled at him three times. The player must jog back to the starting point after each handball. He is allocated between 1 (for a poor handball) and 5 (excellent) points for each handball.

They check his fingernails at the end ;)

I don't understand why we would even consider picking Jarman.

He is a mad Crows fan, goes to all home games and his dad played for them.

If he turned out any good?

He would be back to the Crows at first opportunity.

Why waste a pick???????!
We take him. If he's any good we trade him there for 2 first rounders or they can GTFO. They know we don't joke.

Don't think having a fan club is a good thing, Arr0w . Now you have to have mail-outs, meetings, appearances at shopping centres, merchandise.....they'll expect you to be a role-model for kids.........I've read about it.........are you up for it?
