I'm just not seeing it, IF he was there some clubs before our pick will have FU big time IMO. At 13 of course we take him but I'd be 99% sure it won't happening.

He lacks the class of some of the others , for example i'd take Taranto and and Scrimshaw over him . Other clubs may take Marshall and English over him and next minute he's there at our pick and we have him and Venables there .... And we still pick Lipinski haha

Powell pepper footage on the draft machine looks good. Hits a target every play. And very good goal sense and big long kick for goal.

Chain of command has to go up. Otherwise clubs can deny all responsibility.

Have to disagree here. GWS seem to be the benificiary of more nepotism than any other team in the comp.

From reading that article it seems ASADA see the incident as more serious (avoiding a drug test) which has an automatic 4 year ban rather than failing drug test.

If you just missed it because you were an idiot then they wouldn't come down so hard. There was a carefully thought out plan in this instance which rightly they don't take kindly to.

I think GWS could make a case that they should only lose Pick 15, their actual first rounder. Pick 2 was obtained through trading Collingwood's First Rounder (which they traded for last year) to Freo for 3, then trading 3 for 2.

Of course, the AFL could hit them for both which I doubt would be an unpopular decision with the majority of fans.

I'd take Sproule or Mutch with our Pick 43 without even blinking if either were still there, I really rate Sproule a fair bit higher than some, really like his mobility for a big lad and can see him developing into either key roles at CHF or CHB. Think Himmelberg might be on our radar too at 43 if still there.
