Yeah florent> Galluci for north sounds reasonable with Cedric Cox maybe the smoky

What about west coast ? Who they taking ??!!! Hard to get a read on them
This is my take .....2-3 weeks old now, but starting to look prophetic

IMO Norths first priority is speed, speed, and more speed (Wells and Harvey)......they have plenty of inside mids ....think Brodie slips thru at least to West Coast, but you'd have to back GC with 4 picks wouldn't you ?
I don't know, reckon Brodie would be pretty damn hard to pass up at that stage. Agree that North need speed and class though, Florent seems the obvious choice.

I'd be pretty happy with Perryman

Would be like having 2 Rory Lairds that can rotate mid/ half back

184cm - taller than he looks and another competitor
The negative is his pace though ......much prefer Venables / Brodie / Marshall .....didn't see Perryman excite me in the Championships ?

Yeah I think his running could be OK with some pre seasons - and could end up a reasonable link run/carry player to back up his inside stuff

That's where his main improvement lies IMO

He has more scope to do that than Matt Crouch for example and would also be a difficult match up forward with his size

Not a great kick but ok and I'm sure that can improve in system also
Agree. Would be a very difficult match up in the centre square when he fills out. Kicking should naturally improve, I reckon.

If it gets to pick 12 and scrimshaw hasn't been selected I'll be reaching for Champagne just in case

Good call on Hayward for top 10 , hats looking possible now and not a bad option for Sydney , I also like Logue for freo

Taranto and scrimshaw will go earlier IMO and it's a farce but looks like Bowes won't get bid on until later due to wink wink agreements which is BS and should be looked at by AFL integrity

IMO I see a lot of midfield potential with Perryman... actually see a fair bit of a different Rory in him (Sloane).

Would love him at our pick, wouldn't give as much of a point of difference though, I guess

They definitely need an outside-leaning type, IMO Florent is the obvious choice but not sure they will pass up on Brodie.

At this stage, I have this:

1: Ess - McCluggage
2: GWS - McGrath
3: Bris - Ainsworth
4: GC - Taranto
5: GWS - Setterfield
6: GC - Bowes
7: Carl - SPS
8: Freo - English
9: GC - Hayward
10: GWS - Perryman
11: Syd - Logue
12: GC - Scrimshaw
13: North - Brodie
14: WCE - Gallucci
15: Adel - Berry/Venables
You know my position on English & Freo ;)

Logue if there still, SPP or maybe Rotham?
Hard to pick aren't they ?!!

None of those really jump out for them but a chance for being the best WA kids after SPS

Still think they'd like a dynamic mid or an inside type . Surely they take Brodie if he was there , I'm picking Brodie for them I think

Actually think that Hayward will go above Sydney's pick, GC seem to be quite interested. They can afford to take a risk too, having the four picks. At this stage, I reckon Logue's a monty to go to Sydney, but you can never say anything for sure at this stage.

Not seeing any late bolters though that have somewhat characterized previous drafts .....Powell-Pepper still late first round / early 2nd ......Berry could be Port to late first round

I would if I was GC and had 4 picks . I'd go Taranto Scrimshaw Hayward and Bowes
obviously . That is an awesome haul

They have KP talent and that haul gives them the best mix of talent and needs

Reckon Port will go Marshall / Witherden or vice versa with their first 2 picks . Hayward if he was there still but reckon he's not

That IMO hinges on someone bidding on Bowes and GC's attitude to SPS .....if GC don't have to take Bowes at #4 then i expect they'll take SPS ....if GC don't, every possibility Carlton do take Petrevski-Seton

Reckon Port will go Marshall / Witherden or vice versa with their first 2 picks . Hayward if he was there still but reckon he's not
Given where Ports list is, the flexibility Berry offers them would be highly appealing .....Port also in need of recruiting leadership material as well

Realistically where does Witherden sit ......what's his POD?

If I was GC I'd be taking Berry at one of their picks, god knows they need leadership, strong character and someone to show them elite preparation...all of which they are lacking massively.

I'm not budging :p
Meet English's twin brother ;) ......gifted 100 games ....nothing ruckman taken at #1 .....in hindsight a flop, that was celebrated by Collingwood at the time

Just be careful .....Taranto is a one paced player that reads the game exceptionally well ....bit like Melbourne's Brayshaw, but without the tackling skills & defensive pressure .....may have it a bit more difficult in the seniors

At this stage, that's what I reckon they'll go. Gives them a good balance of inside and outside types.
