As a pianist myself, I always know how to prepare for such manic days, see knowing how to prepare your fingers is an important life skill :p
My greatest passion ...the piano, and classical piano pieces .....and my biggest regret, not being able to play the piano :(

Firstly, I doubt the RFC, or any club, would do that. Secondly, it sounds like they're taking Himmelberg anyway

It's an IT stuff up, not deliberate.

Their recruiters have told the web girl or guy which players are in strong consideration for #27 and they've prepped highlights videos and uploaded them early by mistake.

Just like the Pies and the Treloar welcome video last year which went live before the trade had even gone through.

It is gonna suck watching so much talent be plucked between #13 and #43.

What would be the point. We will know in three years if the decision was right.
We know now that our Dangerfieldless/soon-to-be-Thompsonless midfield is thin

We needed to have a pick between 13 and 43. We got reamed in the lyons deal. A pick in the 20s or even early 30s wouldve delivered basically a first rd player with the depth of this draft.

This is why you are so good at phantoms you understand Adelaide fascination with Half bank flankers
I remember Malcolm Blight once saying he believes the best midfielders are those who start across half back.
Roo started across half back (under Cornes).
Blight started McLeod & Goodwin across half back.

I'm not au fait with the latest upcoming talent, but I will say two things:

- I'm bloody sick of this academy shit whereby Sydney and GWS can grow their own exclusive talented veggies that basically no one else can touch. Expect our Pick 13 to become Pick 17 or whatever.
- We desperately need a good midfielder, but doubt whether our pick 13 from tonight is going to be ready in time for a flag challenge in the next few years. The kid we select tonight may be part of our rebuilt premiership side in 5-10 years' time. I don't want to wait that long for the chance to win a flag, dammit.

We can't have everything.
We chose to forego this years 2nd rounder for Hampton. This may still pay off.
If the Gibbs deal had gone through then we wouldn't even have at least pick 13.
I agree with others that we possibly could have been a bit more creative in trading pick 13 and another to get 2 picks very late first round and one in the 20's./ 2 X early 20's.

Its all well and good if its players from rugby heartland that wouldnt have played footy otherwise. Broken hill and Albury Wodonga is just silly though.
