My general comment from today until I catchup on who is which number from Oakleigh is that they really lack talent, really well drilled but just there just isn't much talent with no one screaming worthwhile draft selection from a talent perspective, but maybe that changes of the course of the season. Western who Oakleigh played just moved the ball so much better, particularly in transition.
Oakeligh's top agers talent is a little sparse. 4 of the 6 players named in the best this week were bottom agers.

Their best player and captain, Jack Roughsedge, is injured at the moment with a knee. He is elite.
J Higgens (35) who was in their best is a bottom ager and is one to watch and will dominate next season and will probably play AFL. Charlie Thompson(19)is another elite bottom ager to watch.

Daicos was No. 28

Thanks evo. I have a couple of my son's friends/neighbours playing for Oakleigh in Christian Moritz(#39) and Matt King(#50). Matt would be a bottom-ager. Any site of them?

Spoke to my next door neighbour last night who is a keen footy observer and who's son plays at the Chargers and also played with Josh and Callum at Bulleen-Templestowe last year. He described Josh as about 177cm, doesn't have a great tank, strength or speed(yet), but with great skills on both sides of his body. He said he thinks that IF he is going to make it at AFL level it would be as a small crumbing forward. He said Callum is now around the same height as Josh and is a real goer who is probably the better prospect. I would agree with these observations on Josh having watched my son's team play against him twice last year and way back through the years when he was playing at Greythorn.

What's that? Slow, short and with great skills on both sides? Sounds like Mitchell to me :p

I just dropped into Ikon Park to watch the first quarter of the TAC match.

I'm about to leave but Josh lined up on the wing and played a solid quarter. All his possessions were uncontested but he hit up two targets in the forward 50, and his kicking is up to scratch.

Definitely is one to watch.
