Surely you would rather travel round one than in the middle of the season?

It's a joke. Seriously, I have no problem playing GC in Qld but can we do it in June instead? Two in the past sixteen seasons.
2001- away vs. North
2002- away vs. Geelong
2003- away vs. Brisbane
2004- away vs. Port
2005- away vs. Melbourne
2006- HOME vs. Sydney
2007- away vs. Adelaide
2008- away vs. North
2009- away vs. Port
2010- away vs. Geelong
2011- HOME vs. Footscray
2012- away vs. North
2013- away vs. Adelaide
2014- away vs. North
2015- away vs. Sydney
2016- away vs. Gold Coast
It makes very little sense. So the next lowest in that time is 6/16.
We're certainly a large outlier. It's very strange.
The last time we played Collingwood once in a season was 1991.
Anyone know if Gablett will be up for this one?
It was an MCL tear which is usually 5-8 weeks. If GC were a chance for finals he could have played by the end of the season, but as he's Gary and their season was over he was wrapped in cotton wool. He'll be as fit as a fiddle come round one and after two injury riddled years he'll be champing at the bit. Be afraid.

That won't happen.
No way will we play both Pies and Blues only once.
For me, and ideal fixture would be something like this
TEAMS PLAYED TWICE (5)
Adelaide.....................away in Adelaide, home at ETIHAD
GEELONG...................away at MCG, home at MCG
Melbourne..................away at MCG, home at ETIHAD
West Coast.................away at Subi, home at ETIHAD
Richmond...................away at MCG, home at MCG
TEAMS PLAYED ONCE (12)
Collingwood........ away MCG
Carlton............... away MCG
Hawthorn ............away MCG
GWS....................away
Port Adelaide........away
Brisbane...............away
St.Kilda................home ETIHAD
Bulldogs...............home ETIHAD
Nth Melbourne......home MCG
Fremantle............home ETIHAD
Sydney...............home MCG
Gold Coast..........home ETIHAD
10 games at the MCG (4 home, 6 away)
7 games at Etihad (just our 7 home games)
5 interstate
4 MCG home games against Richmond, Geelong, Nth Melbourne and Sydney
Make sure we don't have away games against St.Kilda, Western Bulldogs and North Melbourne (which would maximise Etihad games when instead we want to be maximising MCG games)
That would be my ideal fixture.
Dan
Adelaide and WC are in the 1 to 6 bracket - We can only one team twice from this bracket.
Our double up games are x2 vs teams 13 -18, x2 vs team 7-12, x1 vs teams 1-6.
