No go for me
New team, interupted preseason, injury concerns, all the shit that happened last year, too many unknowns.
Wait and see how he goes, he's too expensive to take that risk. Hopefully he drops in price significantly, and we can pick him up mid season once he's adjusted and is playing well.
I was bullish on him earlier but from all reports over here is RTB won't be rushing him back,
he will give him the required time to recover from his calf issues. RTB was talking about Bennell's future and durability leading into it.

Yep, a great upgrade target for around the byes. He should be up and flying around then

What are peoples thoughts on Zorko?

Averaged 111.4 from Rounds 9 onwards last year. Would have to replace one of Deledio or Dusty though to fit in my team, but could be a good POD?

He has a history of starting slow and I think there are better options to start with.
Hopefully he starts slow again and drops in price, then when all the Lions mids start getting injured and he sees more mid time, I'll jump on lol

I hadn't really thought about the impact Libba would have on Dollhouse.

Think they play completely different games and it shouldn't effect dollhouse's scoring ability.

I still see plenty of midfield time for him. Given me something to think about
Dahlhaus is a gun, I can see his average improving from last season. He wins his own ball, tackles hard, and scores goals, I see all stats improving.
He will see mid time regardless of who els is playing. Even if that doesn't happen and he spends more time forward, I'm not worried, more goals. He's only 23 yo

Dahlhaus locked in at F2 100% for me

You could add Crameri gone too.

Dollhouse will play/rest forward more than Libba, Picken, Wallis, Macrae.
Bont is the only mid besides Dollhouse who can be a gun while playing forward.

I'd love him in my team still but wont start with him. Same goes with Barlow.

As a Bulldog I see Dahlhaus defiantly rotating fwd/mid, but I don't see him in the mid as much as last year.

Any love for Devon Smith? He's caught my eye and I'm interested. Averaged 91 in 2014 and 89 last year. Priced at $480k

Can he improve and go 95+? He is still very young. Does he see more mid time with Treloar out and StevieJ in?

Can be a bit up and down like a yoyo. His best is right up there and is as good as any forward listed.

Seems to have a few quiet games. With the extra pre season under his belt and more midfield minutes he could be a very good choice

Risky pick with the likes of Martin dollshouse Zorko Wingard Barlow.

High risk high reward

He'd need to get consistent mid time for me to be interested, had him in a draft team last year and while 89 wasn't a bad return there was lots of variation in his scores as you'd expect from his role. Good player though.

How many people are actually going to start with Wells? Can't bring myself to do it but if he plays even up until the byes without breaking down he is stupidly priced

Risk vs reward with wells. As you said if he makes it to the byes, should make plenty of $$$ and score more than a rookie. Although if he goes down, while it is a trade gone it's an easy downgrade to the best forward/mid rookie. I have him in at the moment but he is far from a lock and his position will likely depend on the quality of forward/mid rookies available.

I've taken little risks on all other line so he is tempting, would prefer him over others at that price range.
Will look to trade him out when he has made me enough coin to upgrade to a premo.

On DeGoey;
At $318k he could be good, it all depends on your expectations.
He'll average 74-82 imo

Nakia will average that.
Pass.

Agreed. A few cheaper options that will likely match or better his scoring output. Simpkin is roughly 100k cheaper. Wells, Anderson, Duggan, Milera, Cockatoo...

Cockatoo has never scored even close to 74-82 SC points, let alone held an average up in those dizzying heights.
His highest SC score to date is 47.

Dahl won't miss a huge lot of mid time with Libba coming back. Picken is the obvious one who will miss out on midfield time aswell as Wallis (who was actually decent up forward last year, without looking at heatmaps etc I reckon he played fwd more than Dahl).

Bontempelli, Libba, Macrae, Dahl, Hunter, Wallis is our midfielder core and I'd imagine that's how much midfield time they'll play in order.

I also think we'll ease Libba in for the first half of the year and he will play a bit more on the outside.

But then again, who bloody knows. Matthew Boyd went from pure inside mid to a gun back flanker last year so Bev is always thinking differently.

Never has De Goey.

What is you're point?

Picken had never averaged over 70, and last year he became a premium and averaged 100. Role changes, natural improvement, fitness, etc the list goes on, history isn't everything in SC

I think Cockatoo has a good chance of averaging 70ish

You said Cockatoo would get that average. I don't give a stuff about de Goey, my point was about Cockatoo.
He will up his avg due to natural development, isn't that common sense?

Good luck with that. I'll take a cheaper rookie thanks and bank the extra $60k
Not paying a premium for someone without a previous good SC record.

He won't triple his 2015 average though.
He is the worst kick of any player to have played at least 10 games. That kinda sucks for SC scoring, wouldn't you say?
Didn't say he would bruz.

Probably being a first year player like a dear in headlights wouldn't have helped IMO

Hopefully Nakia can adapt quicker to the AFL pressure.

Milera > Cockatoo
