Surely some of the people jumping on Sam Gray etc. should look at Devon Smith? Averaged 90 two seasons in a row, 0.8% ownership.

For me, Smith not for the early season but is very near the top of my upgrade list for later in the year. Expecting a slow start and will be a good chance he'll be around $400K at bye time.

Good call although getting a dpp in there opens up even more opportunities to loophole scores. Balic is a decent one in that regard.

I see Dunks as getting a game at some stage, until then agreed its him or the ubergang man

He will play games early no doubt and if he gets back to his best should play every game. He is that good and offers something no one else on our last can. I'd say an average of 70 at best which is pretty good but wont be a massive cash cow. Also 2nd year player so might have a case of 2nd year blues but can't see it happening myself.

They do, a little bit.

However, I'll paste what I wrote about him on the West Coast SuperCoach thread, which is still relevant:

I love the boy like a son - I'd adopt him if I could.

But I'm just not sure he's currently worthwhile for a SC/DT spot - especially at his price.
He should play most weeks, but I think he'll be given some matches at WAFL level or rested to ensure he gets through the whole season.

He hasn't really shown a great deal to suggest he'll be averaging 80+ which is where he'll need to be to be worthwhile, avg. 57 in SC (63 in DT) in his non-sub games last year.

Adam Simpson did say he was ahead of the other 2nd year players and will definitely play early though.

How much is he though? Like 220+? You can't take him and Wells surely.

I think he has a weird name.

Not really sure why I'm posting this, but as I was driving along today, this popped into my head.

With a touk touk here and a touk touk there
Here a touk, there a touk, everywhere a touk touk,
Old Rodney had a team - ei ei o

Not sure where it came from but there it was and wouldn't bloody leave all day. Now it's back, thanks to you :)
