2016 Forwards

90+ is premium for a defender. For $500k+ I'd be wanting much more than a min 90avg for a forward.

I don't know what it is but Barlow just doesn't excite me. No risk, but safe and boring. Not the lock everyone makes out to be imo.

A min 90 average is security, that makes him appealing...

Average when Fyfe played last year ~91

surely he only gets more midfield if Fyfe doesn't. Freo midfield with Sandi, Fyfe, Mundy AND Barlow is slower than the ice age. Barlow's strength in clearances is second fiddle to Fyfe.

Much riskier pick than being portrayed around here.

Everything is a risk. Everything. The game is to pick the best risk-to-reward ratio your comfortable with. I see the potential risk (Barlow stays forward, mirrors 2015 - and maintains ~90/ current price) is extremely worthwhile given the potential reward.

Im 50/50 on Barlow. He only made my team because Lids is out. The safe aspect of his scoring should allow me to upgrade him to Lids if need be. If he does better than last year he becomes a keeper. Win win pick for me.

I like his upside but struggling to find room with him already having Wingard, gray, Barlow, hall, Steele, wells.
Maybe worth seeing how his first 2 go and jump on if he pumps out 80+.....

Menzel has JS, will play every game unless rested against dons, or injured. And since he's been resting for the last 4 years I can't see him wanting to sit too many out anyway. Capable of 15 touches and 3 goals a week. Big upside.
