So guys. Come on.

I know he's a taboo word around here, but in all the threads going not one person has discussed Jarrad Waite as a potential keeper.

He's looking very very good in a side (imo) that will finish top 4. He was exceptional during last years finals as well as the end of last year EF: 121, QF: 107, Rnd22: 98, Rnd 21: 118 Rnd 20: 87 Rnd 19: 117 Rnd 18: 85....Couple that with scores of 122, 174, 123, 129 so it's more of a 11 week sample size in fact. In those 11 weeks he's averaging 116.

He's currently a POD player, which is ridiculous, considering he's currently the #1 ranked SC player after almost 20% of the season and he's not a mid or ruck.

Do we wait for a bad week so his price flattens out a bit (BE currently 80), with his price sitting @ $563,900.

I don't think he can be ignored much longer especially with the following stretch of games, Suns/Dogs/Saints/Bombers/Blues/Swans/Tigers.

Thoughts?

I've contemplated bringing him in this week but after actually thinking about it there's a very slim chance as a key position forward no mater how well he may have gone 4 rounds in keeping a 137 average is quite an optimistic thought and that's what I got caught up in.

137 average, lol. You'd be stoked with a 110 average from here and that's a pretty slim chance.

Does Aaron Hall?
Hmmm.

33 year old vs 25 year old, coming into he's prime

Aaron Hall is also playing as a solid midfielder, so doesn't rely on delivery for his points.

Who was the last KPP to end the year with a 100ppg average?

Franklin probably the last, and even he hasn't managed it in the last few years. But in that time he has had some beasty purple patches, but they never seem to last.

Waite will be targeted now, teams wont give him the same freedom, and teams with better mids wont allow the same level of delivery too him either.

If he manages to maintain anything above 100 average from here on out, I would be amazed, happy to be wrong, but I just cant see it from Waite.

A definite balls and all option

If you bring him in back him to win the Coleman as well

He's never been this fit and let alone averaged 20 disposals before. I'm saying he definitely is the 2nd best behind GAJ. Remember who they've still got injured though

Yeah will be interesting how things go when O'Meara and Swallow are back in full flight.

Provided his BE remains under 110 for the next 2-3 weeks and his value increasing but my intention is to trade him Waite & McGovern for
Martin & Wingard in the next few weeks as they should be equal value by then

I think he was more so shocked by the thought that he is literally "coming into his straps" if you catch my meaning.

Thoughts on Zerrett?

He had an off day today but still racked up 20 touches.

Will he continue his good form and average 95-105 from here on?

No.

Reasons?
He averaged 88.5 last season. Natural progression and more time in the middle will see him definitely improve on that average

What do you see him averaging from here on? ~90?

Should improve on his average and go 90-95 which is good for a forward.

The "no" was for this...

Currently averaging 104 can't see him keeping up a 95 let alone 104 from here on in, Essendone are only going to get worse. They lost to Collingwood by 70+ FFS :D

What do people forecast Kerridge's end of seasons avg to be?

If you looked at our draw, a fair few NM supporters thought we had a good chance.
Yes but did they all think Port would become Richmond mk2? They had an even easier draw.
