Opposition teams wont tag anyone. You tag the other teams best user to give you an advantage to win the match.
Essendon have given everyone a bloody big head start, no need to troll the poor bastards and tag anyone.

I was considering Zach Merrett before the suspension, don't know how it effects him now. He'll surely play most of the season as a starting mid and I can't see him getting tagged over Goddard.

just looking at this myself and wondering the same thing. far from convinced he may get more midfield time this year but he is well-priced for a guy of his ability. keen to hear from freo people/anyone in the know about expectations for his role this year.

Barlow said in an interview a few weeks back that he is feeling the best he has since he broke his leg a few years back. I'd normally just say this was pre-season pump up talk but he backed it up finishing third in our 3km time trial. He's been looking good so far during training.

He will definitely feature heavily in the midfield rotations but I still think Fyfe Mundy Neale will be the primary three with Bennell and Barlow rotating through.

I'm 50/50 on picking him at the moment. In my biased eyes I think at worst he'll average 90 at best between 100-105.

what are people's thoughts on christensen from BL this year? i've never really watched alot of him but have the impression of high expectations re ability since early on at the cats.

If there is an essendon player to look at here it's Kyle Langford has been training in the midfield group all pre season and played last game last year in the middle and did well, with guaranteed midfield time and games also under 200k is one to keep an eye on in the nab challenge.

How can you trust a guy who felt his best when he broke his leg?

But nah seriously aha on Barlow I'm definitely 50/50. If he is going to get enough midfield time then I might consider more but I'm just worried if he plays forward at times is he much of a goal kicker?

I'd be careful with Barlow.
Last year Neale was Freos breakout player.
He was also the reason Barlows average took a dive.

Can't see Barlows average going back up to 100+ now that Neale is set, Fyfe is the best player in the comp and Harley is in the picture.
